Rose was a wonderful tour guide that was very insightful! We loved hearing the stories fo her interactions with veterans that had come back to the beaches. I am glad that the mobility of the van meant that we could see different angles of the area. If anything I wish we could have had a little more time at the American Cemetery to go into the museum and maybe down onto the main part of Omaha beach as well (we only went to a small portion of the beach). The weather was beautiful, but could see how a rainy day would limit your tour greatly.

We took this tour just about a week ago with Gwinn (hope I'm spelling that right) as our tour guide. Luckily the weather was perfect and Gwinn gave us really detailed information during the entire tour. He picked us up from our hotel in Bayeux in the tour van and we went with a group that totaled 7 people including my wife and I. Gwinn was awesome! He didn't just tell us a few tidbits and then let us roam freely. He went really deep into the history at each of the 3 stops on the tour. You can tell that he's a history buff and really enjoys his job. I also liked that he gave an overview for people that don't know much about WW2, as well as minor but important details for us history nerds. Would highly recommend this tour!

Excellent guide, learned a lot on this trip. I would recommend doing a longer tour if you have the time for it as it was very interesting and there is a lot to see and learn!

This was a very informative and enjoyable half day tour with a terrific guide. We visited several of these significant sites Involved with D day and learned a lot about the events And the people involved. Really appreciated our knowledgeable guide and the experience overall. Loved that we were picked up at our hotel. That was so convenient!

Second time to Normandy. First time did not do a tour. This time it was a must and so glad we did!! Ava was extremely knowledgeable, answered questions, fun and easy to listen to. Leaned so much in this half day tour!

Sunny was very professional and knowledgeable. Each stop had historical significance. Sunny provided enough background for me to appreciate the need to remember those who sacrificed there lives and celebrate our freedom.

Our guide Manon Marty was fantastic! Her knowledge was beyond all expectations and we learned quite a bit of new information about the history of the area. She went above and beyond what might have been expected and we highly recommend having her as your tour guide. The afternoon only session was perfect - just the right amount of time without becoming tired. Lots of walking so have comfortable shoes and dress.

What time does it start and can we be picked up at the Bayeux train station?

When we took the half-day tour in December 2021, the pickup time was at 1 pm and yes, they will pick you up at the train station, if you so desire. However, we chose to catch an early train from Paris to Bayeux, take a taxi into Bayeux (not far at all), and enjoy a nice lunch at Le Garde Manger. Our pickup was about 100 meters from there at the Churchill Hotel. Either way, it was an excellent tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable.

We will be staying at La Colline in Bayeux, and would like to take a one-half day tour of the Normandy/D-Day sites on the afternoon of Monday, May 23. What time do your tours begin and finish? We are flexible and can take either a private tour or small group tour. What is the cost for such tours? Also, it appears from your website that you offer multiple tours. Which do you recommend for us?

We were on the afternoon tour so I can't tell you what time the morning tour leaves. As for the rest room accommodations, there were plenty of opportunities to use them during the afternoon tour.

I would highly recommend using Viator for a tour of Normandy. We were picked up around 9am and dropped back off to the train station at 6pm. Our guide was absolutely amazing. We visited both Omaha and Utah beach. Multiple churches as well as the cemetery.

Dogs were not on the beaches; not sure if it’s pet friendly . I would google the question and then go from there. Especially if you aren’t taking an escorted tour , it may be allowed to take your dog.
