This tour is everything you would hope for. Our tour guide Jordan was so knowledgeable, and the way he laid all the information out was clear and concise. He was also very relatable. The van was comfortable and pickup and drop off was timely.

We were short on time and decided to do the afternoon tour. Our guide Matt was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information from multiple perspectives. Was also impressive to see him respond to the questions from kids on the tour, especially one who might have known as much as Matt.
We learned a lot on the tour that was not taught in school or was incorrectly portrayed in the movies. The van was clean and comfortable. It was raining at the last stop and he had umbrellas available. There is a lot of area to cover in 4 hours but we never felt rushed at any of the stops.

I highly recommend the Omaha Beach afternoon tour. My two daughters and granddaughter traveled from Paris for a one night stay to experience the area and remember my father, who landed there on D-day.
Jordan was our excellent guide. Full of passion for and knowledge of the events of 1944, he provided us with information that was both personal and historic.
The four hours flew by as we traveled from Point du hoc, to the beach and to the cemetery. Despite the rain that luckily cleared up for a time it was a thoroughly enjoyable tour. Thank you, Jordan!

My husband and I recently went on the afternoon D-Day Omaha Beach half-day tour with Jordan. Jordan did an excellent job of putting events in context and really knew his subject matter. Good use of time at each location, prompt departure and the tour van was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

The tour guide, Matt, could not have been better!!!!
He was full of information and very polite. He took his time to explain the history on the way to the tour and on the way back to the pick up location as well. It was well worth the cost. If you can pick your guide pick MATT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic way to see Normandy area history on short time-line. The Tour guide was amazing - so informative and knowledgeable. So happy we chose this tour.

Chloe was our guide and she did a fantastic job telling us about the history and the sites. At each stop we had time to explore on our own. Overall it was a great experience and we were very pleased. Highly recommend!

Chloe was a great tour guide! She is SO knowledgeable. The length of the tour and size were both perfect. We really appreciated the visual aids she brought on tour. The photos and maps helped us visualize the D Day invasion. Highly recommend this tour.

Had a great afternoon with Charles doing the afternoon tour. We had three little kids with us but it was no problem - he even took the van for a quick detour back to our house rental so one of my kids could change his shorts when they got wet on the beach! We had one other couple with us and the small size was great. Charles answered every question and seemed to have a real passion for the history of the area. Was very nice to see the area without having to worry about driving our rental all around or navigating the local roads. The bunkers at Point du Hoc were a highlight for the kids; the American cemetery for evening Taps was a highlight for us.
If you're driving into Bayeux, give yourself an extra 10-15 minutes to find parking and use the payment machines. The meeting spot was easy for us to find near the Cathedral and the mill.

We will have a 1 year old with us, most definitely a lap child. Do we need to sign up with him as a full fair even if he’s a lap child? Or can we pay for the 4 adults and. 3year old?
My guess is that you will need a children’s car seat to bring the child on the mini-bus. This probably means that you will have to pay for the child since they will be occupying a seat. There might be a discounted rate. I’d call and ask.

If we go earlier in the day to Normandy can we meet the tour someplace instead of being picked up at the train station but we will need transportation to the train station in the afternoon or if we get there early can we ride with the morning tour to Normandy and see things on our own before our afternoon tour. Thanks for the help with this.

I would get into Bayeux in the morning and explore the town. It is beautiful village. Well worth some time there and an early lunch. If you can, visit the Bayeux Tapestry exhibit also. That takes approx an hour. Then do the afternoon tour. Our guide offered to drop anyone of at the train station on the way back to town. Hope this helps.

The best thing to do is send them an email with that information. Our guide was also our driver so they shouldn’t have a problem accommodating 10 if there is no one else on the tour.

I hope this isn't too late an answer. Yes, there is a train. Take it from the North Train Station in Paris.
I noticed that the description of the tour said not wheelchair accessible. I have a lightweight (17lbs) transport wheelchair which folds up like a stroller. Can this be brought in the van? I can walk but not fast and not for long distances.

Unfortunately, I don't think this tour would be suitable for someone that uses a wheelchair. The van used and the sites visited are not wheelchair friendly. There are likely other tours that can be more accommodating to your needs but I would contact them.

I doubt it for half day tour because Mont St Michel is about 1 1/2 hours from Bayeaux. The half day dday tour meets in Bayeaux and then they drive you to the sites and back to Bayeaux. Recommend doing these on separate days.
