Andreas was a great guide. He took us both to well known bars and to secret hip places we would have never gone without a local. We felt like we were hanging out with a friendly host that is trying to make the most of our time together. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice time with Andreas Moridge our guide who had a lot of knowledge,his english is excellent and took us to great bars. Because we were the only couple who arrived to the tour we also enjoyed his knowledge about Athens. Not just the bars. We highly recommend thistour and this guide

I spent a lovely time with Andreas and 2 other travellers bar hoping athens. Andreas is a worldly, amazing conversationalist with a calm and easy going energy and very flexible on the itinerary and to meet our food/walking/drinking needs :). He has a deep knowledge about many topics on greece and the world in general.... my mere question of 'what is Mastika' got me into a wonderful conversation with Andreas on history of Alcohol in Greece... i had a fun time on the tour but didn't realize it was pure bar hopping (somehow i thought it would involve more walking/exploring of athens by night)... i would recommend it for those wanting to get a sense of the nightlife in Athens and try a few different bars as the athenians do and know how to have fun!

Josephine was amazing. We went to 3 different bars in 3 different communities around city center that we would have never had known to go. I would highly recommend Josephine and this experience.

We only had one night in Athens before our cruise and we didn't want to waste it so we looked into a tour and came across Alternative Athens. From the beginning they were responsive and informative. We met Andreas at the beginning of our night and then he took us around the different neighborhoods. He was awesome! He was super chill to hang with and super knowledgeable. He first took us to this bar that we never would have found as it is on a random street with no sign above. We walked through this stone archway thinking "where is he taking us" which then opened into this cool courtyard with an awesome bar with cool bartenders and awesome drinks. We then walked to a different neighborhood to a rooftop bar with mostly locals and a sweet view of the Acropolis. We ended at a Rum Bar which was different and unique. We ended the night with Gyros and lots of memories! We couldn't stop telling people how neat it was when we got on the cruise the next day. Even though it was just me and my husband it was not weird at all and we had a great time! Andreas we will see you again when we return to Athens! Highly recommend!

Andreas gave us an unforgettable night, showing us many cool bars in Athens, sharing with us insights about Athenian way of life, customs, and point of view. His English and knowledge were great and we learned and saw things we wouldn’t have otherwise. This tour in general and Andreas in particular, are highly recommended for every one who wants to fully enjoy Athen.

Our night tour was incredible with Antigoni! She made it feel like we were out with friends and it was one of our favorite things we did in Athens! We saw parts of the city we never would have stumbled upon as tourists, truly a great experience!

Our guide was Nikos, and he made this our favorite part of visiting Athens! We'd been delayed/diverted and had our flight cancelled, then they lost our luggage (which we ended up not having for five days). Because we'd lost a day of traveling, we'd packed a lot into the only day we ended up having in Athens, and we hadn't changed clothes for two days. We were exhausted, had to get on our cruise ship the next morning, and weren't in the mood really. Nikos changed all of that! I'm so glad we didn't miss this! He took us to Six D.O.G.S., The Art Foundation, and Couleur Locale. He couldn't have been more polite and engaging and we had so much fun with him, and the only other person on our tour, a lady from England. We talked and laughed and had a great time! He ended up staying with us two hours past what he was required, but no matter how many times we offered he wouldn't accept a drink on us, and didn't drink at all. We met so many amazing local people in Greece, and fell in love with it because of the people that live there! Nikos was by far our #1 favorite local! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. Thank you, Nikos!

This tour was incredible. Our guide Pavlina took us to 4 different spots and gave us a little history lesson along the way. Each place we went had a story, a view, or both! We had a wonderful time exploring Plaka to Psyrri and every place in-between! Something to definitely not be missed if you're in Athens and enjoy a night out.

Addie was a fantastic tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about the history of Athens as well as the bars that were around us. We told Addie what kind of drinks we liked and the type of atmosphere that makes us the most comfortable and she did amazing finding bars to fit us best. If we ever make it back to Greece, I would definitely do this tour again and ask to have Addie as a guide!
