This quiet park is conveniently located not far from the ferry to Newfoundland. There is a fine sandy beach. A communal dining building is available in case of inclement weather. Great play area for the children. Reasonably priced campsite. The black flies were ferocious even for the time of the month and the windy weather.

a beautiful campground with a gorgeous quiet beach and a laundry room. Black flies made it slightly less appealing, but, hey, it's the outdoors.

Camped 3 nights including Canada Day 2019. Easy to find, very well maintained with a choice of sites beachside overlooking the bay or sheltered wooded sites behind beachfront sites that were still inaccessible because of snow patches. Watched icebergs pass by all day, every day. Friendly available staff on site. Facilities are clean, well kept and all in working order, including all conveniently located dry toilets, showers, laundry, refuse drops. A 8 minute walk from campsites to flush toilets, laundry and showers. Wifi access at park check in station and a bit weak and slow. Access to Pinware River past campsites to beach front for walks and fishing. Close to town for gas, convenient store. Town council hosted an annual afternoon of games for kids, food and meeting friendly locals on Canada Day, capped off with an impressive array of fireworks near town that I watched from the camping site. I would return.

But be prepared for black flies. We had our bug shelter, a must. We picked a sure fairly close to the ocean, it was awesome, with a view on the icebergs!!!! Staff was super nice, showers very clean. We had a fantastic stay.

Large campsites, friendliest staff ever (AKA - Martin), spotless comfort station, best dumping station. On the downside there was no water or electricity hookup.

The lack of playgrounds, unfortunately, does not make the Pinware River Provincial Park "kids-friendly" and you must be ready for the nasty "nosee'ms" or black flies.
The Pinware River Provincial Park is small but boasts a fantastic scenic view on Pinware Bay. Whales and porpoises are current sights and fishermen land sea trout and salmon when in season.

This was a beautiful provincial park. Could not ask for a nicer site- #14, nice and level, had a walkway down to a cliff with amazing sunsets over the water.
Firewood- 5$ was good deal. Very quiet, very clean comfort stations/pit toilets.
There is a lovely day park with picnic tables and benches.
Comfort station is way at the beginning of the park. Not a far bike ride, but was a long walk at times.
Some times of year are better than others because of the black flies, but this is the case throughout southern Labrador.
This is a don't miss. I loved the park so much, wish we had stayed there longer.

We did enjoy visiting this park, mostly because of the possibility to see lots of arctic hares!! There were everywhere, jumping in front of us. So cute!!! The scenery is beautiful. I would definitely recommend to stop by here for an hour or more.

Such a nice park with such great amenities, sitting there like a little gem in Labrador. Nice walking paths, beautiful beach, lots and lots of jackrabbits. And WiFi. No. Seriously.
