We sincerely apologize about what you experienced. Usually we ask that persons meet us inside the cruise ship pier 30 minutes after the cruise ship has docked. This message is sent to all of our guests once they are arriving on a cruise ship. For the buses that are picking up more than one group, usually we give up to 30 minutes, after the first group arrives for all of our guests, assigned to that bus to show up. In most cases, persons show up within 10 minutes. So we are able to leave right after. However, on this particular day, we had two passengers who got caught in the heavy crowds leaving the cruise ship. We were in constant contact with them and they kept asking us not to leave. As a tour company we try to be accommodating to all our guests, as they would have had difficulty getting a refund. We would have taken everything into consideration, knowing the time you had to be back on board and the tour you were doing. With that in mind, we realized that we could have waited a few more minutes for these guests. However, in the driver's report, the driver said that you kept asking him to leave and he shouldn't wait any longer. However, we understand that you were the only persons in that group, doing the three stops, and this would have been of some concern to you, but we knew you had enough time to complete all the activities. This is why we made arrangements, for you to be taken from the group after the first stop, and have you privately transported to the other two stops, and then at the end to regroup with your original driver who would have taken you back to the cruise ship. The bus you travelled in was checked as we take all our guests comfort into consideration. Hence, we checked the air-condition and it appears to be working ok. However, the day of your tour was recorded as one of the hottest days on record. We also checked on the 45 minutes wait time you mentioned, the driver said in his report that on his return you were waiting, however the photographer, who accompanied you from the falls, said you had been waiting for about 5 minutes. The driver had to leave to take your original group back to the cruise ship pier, which is about 5 minutes away from Dunn's River Falls. Hence, it's unlikely that you were waiting for 45 minutes. The driver's report also mentioned that you were back at the cruise ship pier, at 2:10pm, which was about an hour before your boarding time of 3:15pm.
