Lovely establishment. Greeted by the owner. Had lovely tea and scones (the best I’ve had since visiting Ireland). Each family member stopped at our table for a little conversations. We were taken on a tour of the farm. Had the opportunity to dig/cut peat and make a little fire. Such beautiful views and property.

We booked this with our CIE Tours. We had an excellent time. We enjoyed tea and homemade scones with homemade jam. The owners wife even shared her recipe with us! It was educational as well as hands on fun. Learning about peat cutting helped us understand more about beautiful Ireland and some of the things we were seeing on our trip. Truly an excellent experience that enhanced our trip to Ireland!

We were served us the best scones; our hosts made a point of speaking personally to each of our group members. Informative talk on the history of the farm/area before we proceeded to the peat cutting. We were treated to an impromptu demonstration of hurling as well. A perfect example of our trip to this beautiful country...amazing history, wonderful scenery and friendly, welcoming people!

People were extremely friendly, informative, humorous and helpful. Told me about my ancestors surname and a brief history of where they were from, explains my nordic and Spanish DNA. Served great scones and tea. Learned some history of the local area. Got to shovel peat from the bog. Amazing scenery at the top of the hill. Clean restrooms. Wear comfortable shoes for walking.

What a fun and exciting experience. The owners had us for tea and scones before heading to the top of the mountain to cut the peat and get info on the area. Beautiful farm, stables and extremely kind and friendly staff. Would totally give this 5 stars

My husband and I recently returned from a CIE tour of Ireland and Scotland. We visited the Causeway Coast Discovery Centre and loved it. Unfortunately for us we couldn't enjoy all of the activities because of heavy rain. However, it was still a highlight of our trip. Danny and Mary are so friendly and welcoming. Their knowledge of the area and it's history draw you in and make you want to hear more and more. You feel as if you have been welcomed into their home. On a rainy day the tea and scones were a real treat. Mary even went to the trouble to bake gluten free scones for my husband. It was a great place to visit. I would highly recommend it to all.

The family were so friendly and informative. Besides, they are McKinley 's. They served us delicious tea and scones. Trip to top of property was fun & hands on cutting peat from a bog. One of the sheep farms we visited was too commercialized. This was not. Looked like they had trail rides as well on their beautiful horses. Highly recommend !

A steep walk down to the Causeway from the car park which takes about 20 mins. We caught the available bus in both directions and we're pleased that we did. The charge was £1 each way. It is free to visit the Causeway itself but to park the car and go into the centre costs £10.50 a person with no concessions.

Danny and Mary run one of the most interesting information centers. They customize activities that you are interested in. My wife and I came away from our time visiting with an appreciation for the people who live in this area from ancient to modern times. If you visit the Causeway Coast, don't miss this!
