A lovely place for a wine-tasting in June. The hostess was so helpful. So much good information. With the harsh winters (almost like Northern Ontario) we didn't expect to find wineries. Celista wines are light and delicious. We bought crackers and cheese and and sat outside to enjoy them.
An added benefit was finding the book by Jay Ootes, Umingmak, that we are really enjoying - a lasting memory!

Stopped here while renting a house in Anglemont for the week. Great little winery - took advantage of the free tastings and ended up buying a case of wine lol. They have a great outdoor seating area as well where you can enjoy a glass or two of wine with some local cheeses and meats. Came back another day with a professional photographer for some family pictures - thought the hourly charge for taking pictures was a bit much but glad to have some nice scenery for photos.

What a pleasant winery with great wines and awesome staff 🙂
We ended up spending the night through « Harvest Host ». The wine tasting was amazing with staff and owner Jake who were so welcoming. The grounds by themselves are immaculate with a view to take your breath away. I highly recommend their wines and hospitality.

Just spent an extremely enjoyable 2 hours here. We drank the wine and partook of a cheese and salami platter - it was relaxed, unpretentious and friendly. There was a great selection of their own wines which were easy drinking and well priced and although we just missed the tour I understand from another couple who didn’t that it was really worthwhile.

My girlfriend and I stole away from the families at a nearby cabin and popped in for a tasting shortly before closing. They were gracious and didn't rush us and we came away with 4 bottles! The next day, we bumped into their stand at the Celista Wednesday Farmer's Market and bought 4 MORE bottles. That afternoon, we packed up our husbands for a lazy glass on their peaceful property and ended up bringing yet 4 more bottles! They were so relaxed and welcoming, the scene peaceful and the service down to earth. We will definitely ensure a visit next time we come to Shuswap Lake!

Our first wine tasting of the Shuswap wineries. Appreciate the fact that all their wines come from grapes grown on their property. Enjoyed the varietals from local grapes not typically found in wineries in the central and south Okanagan (Ortega, Siegerrebe, Foch, etc.) Owner Jake was simply charming to chat with!

We came across this winery from a sign on hwy 1. We were out for a drive and a picnic and decided to go to the winery first. While there we enjoyed the tastings, asked if we can have our own food which was affirmed, asked if we can sit in the gazebo which again was affirmed, bought two glasses of the reserve foch because their licence doesn't allow a bottle to be bought, went to the gazebo with our picnic and glasses of wine. Decided we were going to buy a case of the foch until the owner came along and said he started his tours from the gazebo and he was running late and could we please leave. That was completely disrespectful when we had already enquired if it was ok. If that's the rule then staff should inform people who ask. We asked, we bought none of their wine beyond the two glasses nor will we. What started as a great experience did not end as such...too many great wineries in BC to waste our time here.
