Visited this wine shop on a trip to Florence last fall. Picked up some fantastic wines and had them shipped back to the United States. The shopowner was very helpdul and made several recommendations. The wine order arrived extremely quickly to my home. I was able to purchase and ship additional wines from my home recently and they also arrived very quickly. The wines I have tasted have all been delicious. Highly recommend visiting this shop if you are ever in Florence.

Vast knowledge of wines, and our shipment to USA arrived shortly after we did. Fun shop too! Sting is my favorite artist, and was happy to find his wine Il Palagio here!

We had a short amount of time in our schedule. We purchased some local wine to ship home. They helped with recommendations and tastings. Shipping was reasonable and we got our wine shortly after we got home. It all took less than 30 minutes, but I would have loved to spend a lot longer in the shop! I hope we get to buy more local wine here!

A group of us on a trip visited this shop for a wine tasting and were blown away by the level of personal attention and excellent wines. We all participated in a wine tasting and ended up all buying wines! We enjoyed the wines and customer service so much that we continue to have wines shipped to us here in the US.

Enoteca Ponteveccio was such a find during my recent trip to Florence. I was looking for some gifts from Italy and Laura and the staff there were very helpful. We ended up pairing some Limoncello, balsamic vinegar and olive oil that they arranged to have shipped home for us. I'm not much of a wine drinker, so we did not partake in the wines, but they do have other items to choose from. It was definitely a hidden gem during our trip. They were so accommodating and our purchase arrived safely at home a day or two after we got home. Great experience!

Highly recommend! We were in Florence during olive harvesting and stopped here as suggested by our guide. So glad we stopped in to sample some superb wine and first pressed virgin olive oil. We purchased/shipped a case with a mixture of wine and olive oil and have been thoroughly enjoying both since our return.

Highly recommend! Although our visit to Enoteca Pontevecchio was brief, my sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience! So much so, that we ordered a case of our favorite wine, Barbera D'Asti Superiore to enjoy at home! Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable!

This shop in Florence provides the highest quality of authentic Italian wine, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar that we've been able to find as globe trotters. All the staff were absolutely amazing while we were in the shop - making sure we tasted any wines we wanted to ensure we were shipping home our favorites. After drinking all the delicious wine, we reached back out to order more and it was the exact same experience (shoutout to you, Laura!)! I cannot recommend this wine shop enough. We will be stopping by every time we are in Florence and ordering via online for many years to come. Grazie mille!

What a wonderful find! We took a brief tour of Florence and our guide suggested we find this wine shop to do tastings. We found it and we’re thrilled with our experience. The shop offered both wine and olive oil tastings. We were very pleased and enjoyed our experience. We bought both wine and oils, and had them shipped back home. Everything arrived in top notch condition! We are looking forward to sipping our wine, and reminiscing about wandering the neighborhood of Santa Croce.
This shop is a must stop - great experience with a local shop owner who is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful!

Thank you to Laura for a wonderful experience tasting wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar! Laura's business was recommended by the cruise line's excursion guide and it was well worth the time. We enjoyed the tastings and ended up purchasing wine, oo and balsamic to take home. We had it shipped to the US and it arrived a few days after our return home.
