The whole island is beautiful and even some would say unforgettable.
But to reach it you'll have to take the boat trip and pay a €15 or €20 fee for a 20 minute trip each way and only 45 minute stay on the Island, which is definitely not enough, but it is the way it is.
If only you could stay more on the Island it would be a winner but ... they won't allow you.
Still the trip is mandatory as place is worth it!

They tell you up front there is a faster way to get to Bled Castle, but why hurry. The scenery is worth taking in and the rear tillerman gives you the feel of crossing the lake in years past. I found it a good value for the money.

Expensive at €15 for the short trip to the island but it’s fun and the views are amazing! You get to spend about 45 minutes on the island before the return trip.

Well, what a good day we all had!
Lake Bled is so beautiful and this Mini Adventure took us on trails and paths that gave such amazing views, even the kids said wow..!
This Mini Adventure gave us all something to see and do. Normally my kids can get a bit grumpy if they think they're going to have to walk too far, but they were so busy and involved with the clues that the time passed too quickly.
Bled has lots of places to stop for coffee and cake or ice cream and plenty of parking.
A real win win day for all our family.
