Terrific road cycling tour through Colombia. Highlights Alto de Letras, Peacock Sanctuary lodge, cacao plantation tour, excellent guides. Would recommend.

I did a three day private guided rides around Bogota with Colombia Bike Tours. My guide Jose is a very strong cyclist and a great person and incredibly knowledgable about the cycling scene in Colombia. I had a great time and enjoyed riding with him although the weather was less than stellar. Thanks Yvez organizing it and I'll hopefully I'll be back. Definitely recommended,

I was interested in cycling in Colombia and made contact with Yvves through his website. Yvves was very responsive and quick to tailor a tour both to my timeframe and areas that I wanted to cycle. The cycling was absolutely amazing with excellent routes and nice accommodation along the way. Yvves really knows the places and routes to cycle and I would recommend anyone who is interested in a cycling holiday in Colombia to use Colombia Bike Tours as you will save yourself a lot of time as everything is dealt with professionally from initial contact to the cycling tour itself.

Great experience with Colombia Bike Tours, Yves made sure that the provided Canyon bike was set as per measurements I specified day ahead of our rides, and that it was working flawlessly. The rides were well planned, gave me a chance to discover new areas around Bogota and take-in the Colombian cycling experience. From well selected routes, to awesome stops for “Tinto con arepa” snacks and wonderful photos, my 3 days of 300 km and over 3500 meters of elevation gain were truly incredible and gave me a fabulous insight into joys of cycling in Colombia. Also, the recommended motor bike escort provided additional insurance and assistance when needed to drop a vest or use a full-size pump when changing a flat. I would recommend using Colombia Bike Tours to others!

I had the pleasure of riding with Yves and Jose for 5 days in January of 2021. From the first email exchange planning my prospective trip to our goodbye at the airport in Bogota, I could not have asked for a better experience. The logistics and planning were perfect. My only job was to ride and enjoy myself. My guides were endlessly accommodating and flexible. We constantly adjusted the day to match my fitness and energy levels.
The riding and scenery were invigorating. I was impressed with the route selection and natural beauty of Colombia. Alto de Letras is a must do for any cyclist. I will never forget my panela fueled adventure of the "longest climb in the world"! Jose guided me with great encouragement to a challenging and rewarding victory.
Further trip highlights included seeing Egan Bernal zip by at light speed on a ride outside of Subachoque, climbing an 18 percent grade, and taking a coffee at the top of Patios, the "local hill" exiting Bogota.
If you are a looking for a tailored experience that will broaden your bicycling horizons, Colombia Bike Tours did a wonderful job and I recommend them whole heartedly.

Most epic cycling trip of my life! We went on this trip in Feb right before the pandemic hit and it also coincided with the Tour de Colombia. We rode through beautiful countrysides, up mountains, down epic descents, through quaint towns and drank it all in on our bikes - around 500 miles over 8 days. Besides the incredible riding, it was a real treat to stay at the same hotel as the pros that were racing in the Tour de Colombia. We saw countless pros riders and even got to snap a few pictures with Julien Alaphilippe and TdF winner, Egan Bernal. It was truly a pro experience, definitely would recommend the trip and I hope to come back to Colombia again with Colombia Bike Tours - perhaps on gravel bikes this time!

Awesome 8 days in Colombia with the group. We were 4 friends and we’re paired with 3 others. Our guides and guests were awesome. The guides designed incredible routes for us everyday and we got to see so much of Colombia. We stayed in great hotels and everything was seamless. We also got meet a bunch of the world tour pros since we overlapped with the Tour of Colombia. Can’t wait to go back.

I was incredibly impressed with our guides; Yves, Jose, and Rodriguez who all were outstanding. They also happen to be intimately engaged with many of the professional riders and have coached or raced with many of the Colombians. We had some strong riders and they were more than ready to go when the group wanted to hammer and could sense when and who needed to slow the pace and enjoy the scenery. Because we had 2-3 guides and 2 cars we were able to break up the group and manage different paces.
Yves managed a great trip. We stayed in 5-star hotels, eating there as well. This helped build camaraderie with our fellow riders, but we might have missed out on some of the local cuisine and ambiance.
I had been really interested in visiting Colombia and getting to ride in what I heard was a cycling mecca, It did not disappoint.
The country welcomes cyclists on the roads. It seems everybody rides and they have a real appreciation and more importantly respect for cyclists. The roads through the villages and into the mountains were epic. The small towns, with their ubiquitous but locally unique town squares, were always welcoming with coffee and pastry shops along with the requisite imposing church. The locals were fantastic and very friendly.

I contacted Yves about a month prior to my trip to Quindio in Colombia. I told him I needed a road bike and somebody to show me the best routes around. He took care of everything, the bike was taken to my hotel and he had somebody escort me on a motorcycle through the most amazing climbs and towns. My tour guide was a cyclist himself so he knew exactly where the best spots where and most definitely where locals would go. It is by far one of the best cycling experiences I've had. I can tell you I also compared prices with other companies and this were simply unbeatable.
