So sad we didn't leave with products nor information
may. de 2021
We called and left a message on 5/17 to see if we could arrange a tour. We never got a call back. She showed up mid day on 5/18. The employee who just arrived to milk the goats was too busy to tell us anything other than the store is up there. We walked up to the store, enjoying the view of the many goats on property. Upon entering the store, which was a cute one room building, we were greeted by the employee. I mentioned that we were interested in learning more plus buying goat cheese. She said sorry on all fronts. no cheese, no tour, more milk. Tours (which are self guided via some signage) are on Friday and Saturday only. I told her we were heading back to Florida on Friday. We would like to own a small farm some day and had lots of questions. Any chance we can do the self guided tour now? No. Silence. Worse customer service ever for a small farm. I asked about my voicemail. She said it is probably because they were birthing goats. I have to say that is the first I have heard of that excuse. We were very sad and shared this information with the ownership at the KOA that we were staying at by Lake Hartwell. They shocked at how we were treated. I sure hope that gal gets a job somewhere else as to not taint the reputation of a local farm.

Visited the farm with our grand kids
jul. de 2019
Our grand kids love to visit this goat farm. They got to pet goats, cats, pigs, etc.. The most fun was they were petting a cat - who just sat there. He was drooling from all the petting/affection. Once they touched teh pig - they really enjoyed him as well.

Goat Farm

It was a cute goat farm to look at and check out goat milk products. Plus locally meats and such but not great for spending the afternoon with your kids walking around.

Goats and Goats
jun. de 2019 • Pareja
We were camping at the KOA campground and had a couple of hours to spare so we decide to visit Split Creek Farm. We listen to some facts about goats that they were telling to a school group. and then we went around by ourselves. We saw some of the goats that were young and able to pet the older goats. Bought some goat fudge at the store And enjoyable hour.

Great opportunity for getting up close and personal with farm animals. Tastings of many of the fine products made from the milk of the goats on th farm. Fun demonstrations of herding dogs. Granddaughter enjoyed the afternoon.

Fun afternoon. Walk among the goats, visit the nursery with the newborn goats. Buy a snack and, of course, get you some fresh goat cheeses.

Best goat cheese ever! Different flavors. Go out and pet the animals. Goat milk lotions. But the cheese... ahhhh.

Good place to take your family to see some farm animals.

The farm had a few different types of animals and the goats /cats are very friendly. The staff was welcoming and talked to us if we had questions etc. It felt like home with all of the comfortable seating and the nice staff.

Visit the goats particularly in the spring when the babies are born. Next, go to the shop and find all sorts of great food and gifts. Try the chocolate goat's cheese!

So so

This is a working goat farm and we only saw 2 staff. Expect to walk around on your own. The time we were there they had a bunch of newborns and some about to be born. Chickens run around. They have a pig but he/she doesn’t run around — way too fat. The store is small and I didn’t really think it had much to offer. Apparently, their goat cheese is award winning. You will see it on the menu in several restaurants.
