Very special bluegrass venue

I've had a hard time finding anything like this elsewhere. They just don't make bluegrass get-together's like they used to.

We went here on a Friday night just to get out of the house and hear some live music. This place was great. Seating was very comfortable and close to the stage. We will be going back.

A Unique Asheville Experience
nov. de 2018 • Familia
There is more to this area of NC than spas, restaurants, and upscale shops. Venture further south, to the town of Fletcher, to see some entertainment from the past. I guarantee it is still entertaining today. We had the pleasure of hearing Whitewater Bluegrass Band. They were amazing, with a banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, and a large upright bass. I had never seen clogging before and couldn't help tapping along to the beat. These people know how to dance. If I lived there, I would want to learn how to clog.

If you love bluegrass and mountain music...

We were in the mountains for the weekend and saw an ad for this place in one of the tourist brochures. We had nothing planned for the Friday night we arrived and headed over. It's an old store that been converted to a non-denominational church. Friday and Saturday nights feature bluegrass music and dancing. No church service. No preaching. And best of all free, but the music is so good, you really should give a donation. The place is a hole-in-the-wall, but that's part of the charm. I'm sure there were other tourists like us there, but the large crowd seemed to be mostly locals. An amazing place to spend a few hours of you are in the Ashville area during a weekend.

Authentic Old Time Music and Fun
oct. de 2017
Local folks as well as visitors listening and dancing to live music Friday and Saturday nights. Atmosphere is warm and friendly. I've been more than once and the music was always top notch--mostly bluegrass and old time music. No admission fee, just contributions, and concessions are sold. Fun for all ages. It's an authentic regional treasure.

What a great place!! The live music is terrific and everybody gets up and dances. If you don't know how to clog, you'll want to learn. The price of admission is a donation--a real North Carolina experience

Blue Grass and Gospel Music
ago. de 2017 • Solitario
Feed & Seed, in Fletcher, NC, is where a community of faith gathers for worship, on Sundays but also, has live Blue Grass and Gospel music every Friday and Saturday evening, from 7:30-9:30PM. The people who gather here for the music are good people, who enjoy dancing, in addition to listening to the music. Men and women of all ages and young people, make the floor vibrate to their clogging. I come away energized and uplifted by the interaction of all these people. There is no charge but one is encouraged to make a donation for the bands, who come from all over the southeast, to perform. Each show is streamed live, so if you can't attend, you can watch it, wherever you may be. It's a lot of fun, so come on by and join in the fun!!

Wholesome entertainment! Our house guests thoroughly enjoyed going with us. It was their first time experience. The clogging and the band were full of energy. The place rocked!
