The glass creation experience that Kristen offers is amazing. Each person chooses to make an ornament, paperweight, or drinking glass, with colors of their choice. Kristen has multiple super hot furnaces that she uses to melt, gather, and heat the glass, and she rolls and handles the glass at the end of the long pole while you twist and shape the glass - it's an amazing hands-on experience, and we felt safe by closely following Kristen's instructions and by her attention to our safety. It's a truly authentic experience in the studio of Kristen, and accomplished glass artist. Our family of four each made one of the glass objects listed above - note that the paperweight is more complex to make than the ornament! You pick up your individualized glass art piece the next day, and our turned out magnificent! Kristen's art is also for sale at the site, and we bought a beautiful piece of her art for our home - everything from glass ornaments to hummingbird feeders to chandeliers! This is an outstanding, authentic experience, that we highly recommend, and that we will do again when we're in the Asheville area!
