The best trail ride you could take.
sep. de 2021
On an average trail ride you are merely a passenger, admiring the scenery as you plod along on a crabby old trail horse. Not so on Lisa's trail rides! We had a blast. We have owned horses and have been on many trail rides and still learned much from Lisa. Normally I would be bored on trail rides, but this was exactly what we were looking for. We trotted and cantered, we rode up and down steep inclines and through obstacles, stopped at a pub and hitched up the horses while we had dinner and rode through the pitch dark on the way back under an almost full moon. This was a bucket list of my wife's. We will definitely be back for more excursions.

Very Disappointing!
jul. de 2021 • Pareja
Lisa was rude from the start. She didn’t introduce herself to the group but gave everyone their papers to sign, with no information given. She commented twice on our attire/cargo shorts- It was in the mid nineties! Lisa and Alyssa were NOT the tour guides we expected. Maybe they were having a bad day in the heat!

Great time for all

I brought eight tweens/teens with me to horseback ride and not a single one was disappointed. Our guides Lisa and her sidekick Alyssa were outstanding. We had some mildly experienced riders and some newbies and all were instructed properly. The horses were all very well behaved and we had zero issues. Every question was answered, and the kids had enough questions to fill the ride. Highly recommended.

Fantastic half day ride

This was a wonderful opportunity. Unlike most trails rides you get to walk, trot and run the horses. Exiting, fun, and the scenery is great.

So much fun!
jul. de 2020
My girlfriends and I wanted to do a guided horseback riding trail while visiting the Lake Geneva area. This was only 35 minutes from where we were staying in Fontana. We were a little worried trying to find the place since we met in a parking lot in the state park. Once Lisa came to the meeting spot with the other group she was leading on horseback I was a little more relaxed, I thought we had gone to the wrong spot at first. We opted for the 2 hour trail ride and I'm so glad we did. Lisa got us on our horses and we went on our way through the shaded trails. We did walk the majority of the time but we did have a chance to trot and one time cantered! That was fun. I have never had a trail guide let us do that before. We also had a chance to do small obstacles with the horses, nothing dangerous but it added to the fun of riding. I highly recommend this guided trail ride. It was definitely an adventure we will remember.

Lisa was fantastic. She was a very personable knowledgeable and professional guide. Gorgeous well trained and well kept horses. She and her assistant Alyssa kept the entire group engaged with fun facts and information about the horses. We enjoyed the conversation and the time spent out on the trails. Beautiful afternoon, and scenery. Money and time well spent! Thanks for the experience

Great tour, best overall trail ride
jul. de 2019 • Familia
Lisa, who runs Wild 3L, is great at what she does. This tour is through the scenic kettle moraine area. Lisa is great a pairing up people with horses. She works the horses over time to ensure they do a great job on the trail. She provides clear directions and support to all riders no matter what level, age, etc. She makes it fun, makes you comfortable. This is a must-do if you are anywhere in this region of Wisconsin. If you go, be sure to locate the site via google maps (most accurate). You will pay the parking fee for the parking (envelopes at entry), but Lisa (through your fee to her) will cover the horse trail fee. Park on grass off to side, not in front of areas where horses are unloaded / tied up. There is a park restroom on site. Most of ride is through woods but mosquitos not problematic. You could bring bug spray. Lisa has riding helmets for those who wish (required for children). Wear jeans and proper shoes.

Nice ride, including a few runs
jul. de 2019 • Pareja
My girlfriend and I rode for two hours on July 13. It was a hot day and our route was mostly in the shade. We have ridden together seven times at various places and Wild 3L is the best. We took the two-hour ride in the south unit of Kettle Moraine State Park. Our horses were very well trained and our leader--Lisa (the owner)--was warm and personable. This was the first time since I was in college (a very long time ago) that I've been at a stable that lets the horses run. Not just trot (which I hate). Riding a running horse is SO MUCH more comfortable than trotting. The only down side is that I got a nasty blister on my butt cheek. :) In addition to the two of us were two young women. Not a big group, which was good. You meet Lisa for this ride in the park, so you need a season or day pass. We have a season pass.

Great Adventure Beautiful Venue!

This afternoon ride was 11 yr old granddaughter birthday adventure. Lisa was wonderful and taught us to canter (a first for both of us). She is a patient instructor and great conversationalist. Well trained and well cared for horses with a great guide in a beautiful setting. My granddaughter was in heaven.

Nothing better!

Lisa is fantastic, and her string of horses are hard, honest workers. I am a "rider" and I have loved every day I have spent with Wild3L.

The trails are beautiful, and always clean and clear. It's obvious that people take great care of them.

The horses are gentle, kind, and know their jobs. Your only job will be to sit and enjoy yourself.

Lisa has the personality and knowledge to entertain, relax, and teach anyone what they're interested in learning.

You get more than what you pay for here.
