Typical country pub... sport on the tv, TAB, pool table, friendly service for a drink. Locals plus tradies and a few tourists. Didn’t try the food but looked good. Would be happy to come back here again.
Three of us went for a motorbike trip around the are, called into the Tumbarumba Hotel and were greeted by the Publicans who couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating. Great clean rooms and facilities. The meals were also great and big! Thank you to the staff at The Tumba Hotel 😊
Stopped for Sunday lunch with 25 others on annual golf trip in bus. Great atmosphere, good pub food and cheap beers. What more could a group of thirsty, hungry and away-from-home group of middle aged blokes ask for. It was a pleasant stop.
I ordered the chefs special of Oriental Barrumundi and vegetables but was served an inedible piece of fish poached in Teryaki sauce, so much so that I was eating the chips served with it as an anodyne to the salty mains. No matter that I had opted for vegetables instead of salad, I still got a salad I didn’t want. It WAS fish-shaped and had a few bones, but even the lemon slice couldn’t make it edible. My partner made the sacrifice of tasting it but didn’t do high blood pressure readings any favours. We didn’t stay around for dessert.
