Peaceful lodge in the desert

I stayed here with my wife for one night when we were visiting the Dead Sea and Masada. It is very different from most hotels, but was a very enjoyable experience. We had a small private room with an en suite bathroom, which looked out onto the desert. Whilst everything is quite "basic", it is also homely and keeping with the eco lodge ethos. The food we had was very tasty (we had breakfast, which was included in the room price, and dinner, which was not). Coffee and tea were available for self-service all day, and beer for purchase in the evening. Although the accommodation isn't super cheap, very little in Israel is, and overall we felt it was reasonable. Great place to go for some peace and quiet, and to explore the Dead Sea, Masada and the desert!

Perfect hideaway

I cannot share the opinion of the other reviews. This is a magic place and you go there for the solitude. The huts are cost and the interior is very aesthetic. They serve breakfast in your room with fresh, local and partial homemade products. You can buy food and wine for your own dinner, for absolute reasonable prices. Unfortunately we had only booked two nights, but we definitely will be back! Thanks Midbara for the wonderful and inspiring time.

Beaucoup trop cher pour juste la vue

Nous avions décidé de nous faire plaisir avec cette nuit là : quelle déception. À part la vue, il n’y a rien. Trop cher, de bric et de broc, assiette vege du diner à 32€, douche cassée et attention aux taxes qui sont des 17%. Se veut roots et écolo, mais pour tout de même 90€ la nuit par personne...

Sono stata sabato 23 marzo in questo luogo per il pernotto e sinceramente non penso che valga tutti i soldi che chiede. 115 euro per la stanza e 60 euro di cena in due. Senza togliere il giudizio super positivo dell'ospitalità che è stato davvero grandioso, penso sia giusto dire le cose come stanno ( ovviamente dal mio punto di vista) per dare modo a chi sceglierà di alloggiare di farlo con consapevolezza. Secondo noi si potrebbe spendere molto meno, considerando i prezzi non economici di Israele da altre parti.
