We are still here, it seems empty. After 3 days we haven’t even seen one housekeeper. The location is excellent. The sauna and jacuzzi are closed. We chose to add one additional night and they charged my credit card for 3 additional nights. The front desk told me he couldn’t help and to try again in the morning. I called my credit card company and chose to cancel my card. They said it would take 3 business days and then I can dispute the fake charges.

The variety of (unpleasant: musty) smells throughout the hotel gave concern. Carpet in rooms and out was old and filthy. Linens seemed clean and beds comfortable. Landscaping suggested little budget for overall upkeep, inside and out. Around back in the parking lot we’re pallets of (uninstalled) shower pans and tub surrounds, though it seemed they’d been there so long they likely would never be installed. Too bad because the bathrooms (and bedrooms!) could use a makeover. For what we paid, the location and rooms should have been far better. Breakfast was decent but the dining room felt similarly outdated and dirty.

The hotel was very expensive for really a basic hotel (unfortunately we were there when students were moving in to local colleges and they jacked up the prices). The hotel is showing some age - stained bath and faded carpets. The biggest problem was that they promised us a cot and, five hours later, at 11 pm, there was no cot. We could not wait any longer so we cancelled the request and two of us slept in the same bed. Unfortunately, the mattress was so shot that I could feel every single tiny move of the person sleeping next to me. I ended up sleeping on the floor! I think I may have gotten 2-3 hours of sleep total. I do not recommend this hotel if you like a firm mattress or will share the bed with anyone.

Leider ist dieses Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben im August 2022,4 Nächte hier verbracht und waren leider nicht sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber immer aufgrund Personalmangels überlastet, sodass meistens mehrfach nachgefragt werden musste. Das Frühstück ist leider auch nicht besonders umfangreich. Es gibt kaum frische Produkteu d nur am Wochenende etwas warmes. Die Zimmer wie auch das ganze Hotel sind sehr dunkel und stellenweise modrig und muffelig. Es müsste komplett renoviert werden. Dann könnte man mit Sicherheit ein tolles Hotel draus machen.

Most importantly, the bed was comfy and I got a good night’s rest and the staff was very nice. But the place was run down and dirty. Hairs on the bathroom floor and some random person’s half used shampoo was still in the tub area. Stains around the tub and the shower collar was away from the tile, leaving a big hole. The whole place needs a scrub and a paint job. I would not recommend this hotel.
