We usually stay in Cottages as we find we are left alone to enjoy our girls trip. I loved the 3 bedroom cottage, clean, spacious with lounge and dinning area. The single beds a bit hard. I would have enjoyed my stay 100% but we had workmen outside our bedroom windows for the 3 days we were there and had to keep blinds closed especially when changing. We had two days with no water at different times and the owner Darren kept coming to our door, no knocking just opening the door to ask or tell us something, sometimes just coming in. We all had been in lock down for 3 months I don’t see why the work had to be done while the cottages had paying guest. It would have been nice if we were told of the work they were doing I’m sure they new In advance. I thought the cottage and area was lovely but I felt none of the peace and serenity it offered as we had to put up with work being done. I would stay there again but would ask about work that may be going on and if the guy Darren was going to be hanging around like he was all the time some of the girls felt it was a little creepy. …
We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage and our friends stayed in the adjoining cottage. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped. The BBQ cooks very nice BBQs. The beds are comfortable and the hot water is very hot. The heating was most appreciated as the nights were a little cool. We were in Cottage no.15 and the outlook is glorious. We looked acoss to the pond and garden with rabbits, Ibis and ducks all strolling round. The roses were in full bloom, a lovely peaceful setting. Very friendly owners. Beechworth is a very historical town which takes great pride in maintaining the historical buildings. Can recommend the Jail tour. historic walking tour, the gorge, waterfall, Billson's Brewery and the surrounding area Annies Holiday units are the place to stay.
This is our 'go to' accommodation each time we're in the area. My 3 friends and I have stayed here on numerous occasions. On every visit we have been greeted with a huge smile and outstanding service. The cabin (more like a house really) is fantastic and spacious, with walks and local wildlife aplenty. All tourist attractions are only a short drive away too. We shall return . . . that's a given.
Part of Beechworth’s Golden Heritage accommodation, Annie’s Holiday Units are great for families. The rooms are spacious, with basic furnishings only, meaning there’s lots of room for the kids and little to break! The decor looks tired, but this place has everything you need, including comfortable beds and heaters. There are also nice rural views, with room for the kids to burn some energy outside, and the units are right on the Gorge Road with its picturesque driving and walking tracks. It’s driving distance to town, but the kitchen is well stocked so you can eat in just as easily. There is also undercover parking—important for those frosty mornings. The peace was to die for.
