The staff and guides at Yellowstone Expeditions Yurt Camp provided us with a magical insight into the beauty and raw nature of this gem of a National Park. We had an amazing long weekend with 12 of our closest friends as we explored pristine snow-covered fields, meadows, and hills with the informative and incredibly safe guidance provided by Yellowstone Expeditions. The guides and staff made us feel welcome as family, and pampered us in the harsh and beautiful conditions of this winter wonderland! A "must" for anyone who appreciates unspoiled nature at its finest!
I actually went on a whim for the first time last February with one girlfriend. I’m not much for snow activities but decided to get out of my comfort zone and check out Yellowstone in the dead of winter with no one else around. What a great decision I made when I booked that trip! We had such a blast that we decided to rent out the entire yurt camp and bring friends and family along this year. Second time around and it continues to exceed my expectations. The guides, the food, the scenery, the wildlife… all of it is exceptional and stunning! Your adventure begins the second you get in the snow coach in West Yellowstone and continues until you are dropped back off days later. Do yourself a favor and book this trip immediately. I thought it was a once in a lifetime opportunity , but it turns out it’s a twice and probably three or four time opportunity. Heck, I may go back every year from now on. It is that spectacular.…
My husband and I just returned from a ski trip in Yellowstone. We chose to tour the park on our skis towing sleds for just over 100 miles. We spent a lot of time on the groomed roads and one of the outfitters that stood out from the rest was Yellowstone Expeditions. Both the drivers/guides and the clients were pleasant and enthusiastic and also attentive to our presence on the roads. As our miles started to stack up, we wondered to ourselves about the possibility of finding a lift out of the park between Old Faithful and our rig in West Yellowstone so we thought let’s call Yellowstone Expeditions! Erica was SUPER helpful as was Masha and another young woman (whose name I didn’t catch!) in fitting us into their schedule on the final day of their clients trip which also coincided with the end of our trip. When Arden pulled up alongside us on the road, it was perfect timing and also allowed us to share a ride out with some really great people. It was fun to share stories and feel so well supported by complete strangers who’d gone out of their way to give us a hand on a physically demanding adventure. We would definitely recommend Yellowstone Expeditions based on their hospitality alone and will keep them in mind for future trips. Thank you!!!…
Put it on your bucket list. Seriously! We came with expectations to see magnificent Yellowstone and wildlife in it best. It is all here and fantastic. But in addition, we found hearty, friendly people that wanted to share unforgettable experience with you. Here, in the middle of the park (one of few places) because of National Park stick restriction will save you 4 hours driving back and force from West Yellowstone. Knowledgeable guides will share with you places that otherwise stay unknown to most people visiting park.
First class care and feeding of travelers interested in a unique wilderness winter experience in Yellowstone. For the adventurous only. You will be warm, comfortable and be a part of the discussion every morning about options for the day.
