Please find bellow more beaches on Rhodes island. 1) Kallithea Beach which is 9km away from Rhodes city. It has many different coves where each one has a small beach-bar or tavern. The main one though is Kallithea Springs which has a big café-bar, museum and an organized beach with umbrellas. 2) Anthony Quinn beach. Located 15km away from Rhodes city. It is a unique beach where the movie “Cannons of Navarone” was filmed and afterwards actor Anthony Quinn wanted to buy it so it named after his name. It has a café at the top and as you will go down the steps you will discover the beauty of the beach. 3) Traounou beach at Ladiko (Or the Caves as we the locals call it). It is located just after Anthony Quinn almost 20 km away from Rhodes. There is a tavern at the parking area where you can buy your refreshments and after wards walk on the left of the beach (around 5 minutes walk) in order to reach the caves. There are sunbeds or you can just sit free at the beach. It is the very suitable for snorkeling due to the caves and the variety of rocks and sea life around them. 4) Afandou beach. Afandou beach stars from Ladiko, from Traounou beach and it ends at Kolymbia. It is 5 km stretch beach with peddles and sand. It is a less developed beach with link isolated areas and some organized with sunbeds and watersports. 5) Tsambika beach. It is a sandy beach with a lot of beach bars. It is not suitable for snorkeling as there are not any corals or anything but sand in the sea but the sea is very shallow up to your knee so it makes it suitable for children. 6) If you want to discover isolated beaches, once you will rent a car I suggest you to go further south of Rhodes where you can find crystal clear water. Dear D2030XUsa, Good afternoon from Rhodes. There are plenty of things that you can do in Rhodes. Firstly since our hotel is located in the heart of the Medieval City you can spend one full day exploring the Palace of the Knights, the Archeological Museum and the walk around the walls tour. Rest at our hotel in our hot tub will give you strench to have a nice evening walk in the Medieval's cities streets where you can find alot of souvenir shops, cafeterias and finish you day dining in one of the restaurants from our suggestion list. Second day you can rent a car and explore the East side of the island. Starting from the most well know beaches, Kalithea beach, Anthony Quiin, Tsampika beach and of course before going even further to Lindos you can stop at Seven Springs. Last visit can be Lindos where you can walk up the castle enjoy the unique view and have a lunch in one the traditional tavernas there. If you with you can even go further Soth the isalnd untill Prasonisi. Thrid day you can visit the West side. Starting from Filerimos mountain, Butterfly valley, visit the Ancient Kamiros and then have lunch in of the traditional villages such as Empona located up the mountains. If you can children, a full day at Water Park will be a great idea. The next day you can book a full day sailing tour where you can see all the East side and all above mentioned locations from the sea and then end you day visiting Rhodes Town having dinner in of the restaurants. Another day can be spend by visiting Symi island. Daily ferries are in route starting from 08:00 and coming back around 18:00 so that can be a full day or you can also stay for a night in Symi island. All in all if you will have a 5 to 6 days visit will full day schedule you can see and explore most of the Island. Dear Avidan, We would like to inform you that the hotel is located in the Medieval City, and only the residents are allowed to drive inside the “walls”. However there is a free parking space outside St. John gate. The parking space we suggest is approximately 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel, next to the local stadium Diagoras.
