We booked Bayside Cottages back in February with the host Bill directly. He was very kind and accommodating. We arrived to a cozy, clean and recently renovated cottage. The kitchen had all the necessary items to cook full meals on site. The bedrooms were cozy and clean with fresh linens. The bathroom was also recently renovated and clean. We were in walking distance to Stanhope Provincial Park Beach and Bill provided a pass for us to use while we were here. We spent our days exploring PEI and these accommodations met all our needs. I would recommend Bayside Cottages for your next stay in PEI.

Stayed in cottage # 2 for 5 nights in july 2024 . Lots of earwigs even on the beds and kitchen , Bathroom has no exhaust fan or a window that opens , Toilet is installed on a spongy floor . Dust and not very clean inside . Extention cords in a few places as plugs . WE reviewed this cottage on AIrbnb and the owner Bill answered as if we were lying . We are NOT and i would recommend not enting any Cottages at Bayside cottages PEI ,

Where to begin ! Dirty is an understatement! Travelling with my daughter in law and grandkids . Get at Bayside cottages not at all like website!
First , website is very misleading! Old, dirty cottages, smelt of mold. Dirty floors, stove, shower, etc… you could tell everything was dirty and had been for a long time. My grandson threatened to sleep out in the truck and my 9 year old grand daughter was crying and refusing to stay there. She wanted to drive back home in NB. And of course, no refunds … so we absorb the costs ! Worst part of it all…The owner, did not seem to care at all!
The only reply she gave my daughter in law is that there is no refunds!
We were out of there! Why are these places still aloud to operate is beyond me !

My wife and I stayed here for a few weeks June 2022. The cottages had obviously had some recent renovations. The location is right on the water with free kayaks available. Bill, the owner was extremely helpful and always available.
We would love to stay here again.

We stayed at one of the Bayside Cottages in September and we were disappointed First, there was no water view. Maybe one of the cottages might have it, but not ours and most of the other 4 or 5. The cottage was run-down, with uneven floors and the bathroom was so small, we had to sit sideways on the toilet or run into the tub. The kitchen was barely supplied, and the sponge was dirty. The heat wasn't working but the owner provided 2 space heaters. The porch step was tippy and no handrails. Though there was no general bad small, the couch smelled doggy. The cabin was fairly clean (except for the sponge) but the bedding was worn and the pillows were slabs of hard foam. The owner, Bill, was a nice guy who should really spend a night in this and his other cottages. After one sleepless night, we told him we couldn't stay for the next 2. He agreed (after some convincing) to refund one of the 2 remaining nights. We found another cottage elsewhere that was much nicer, with a view, and not much more money per night.
