Quiero comenzar comentando que escogimos este hotel por recomendación de un muy buen amigo mio, por lo que ya llevábamos espectativas del mismo, pero al llegar superaron por completo las mismas.
Es un pequeño hotel para descansar en el corazón de Isla Mujeres. Las atenciones por parte del administrador espectaculares.
La alberca, para mi sorpresa, es de agua salada lo cual nos encantó.
También tiene una pequeña área de Playa que está así o más chevere, con sillas, un par de camastros y amacas en la orilla de la playa. También te prestan kayak.
La suite es super cómoda, con un televisor enorme y acceso a Netflix.
Y que tal el desayuno. Un desayuno americano que para mi sorpresa, esta incluido.
Me encantó el lugar y quiero recomendarlo para cualquier familia ya que los más peques también son bienvenidos y se la pasan muy bien.

Bahia Tolok is a hidden gem in Isla. My boyfriend and I stumbled across this hotel while looking for a place to stay and we were immediately greeted with warm welcome by "Aylin" (manager of hotel) and her family. They happily gave us a tour of the property and showed us the room before checking in and we were very impressed with the cleanliness and the overall look and feel of the property. It is quiet, cozy, warm, and very clean. It was exactly what we were looking for. Aylin and her family were beyond hospitable, making sure that all of our needs were met.

The rooms were very spacious and equipped with kitchenettes and furnished with all the utensils you need. The pool is perfect for taking a quick dip. The views are amazing and charming. There is access to the water, perfect for kayaking (available through the hotel) and exploring.

Besides the property itself, Aylin and her staff welcomed us like family. Wilberth, one of the maintenance staff was by far one of the most helpful-kindest individuals we have ever met. He was always asking if everything was okay and if there was anything that he could do for us. He even gave us a ride to the ferry the day we left. Aylin was super sweet, as was her husband, children, and friends. One of the nights we were there we spent some time with all of them for hours by the pool. They taught us Spanish and shared stories with us like we were old friends.

Our experience at Bahia Tolok was beyond memorable and when we go back to Isla we will definitely, without a doubt stay at Bahia Tolok. If you are looking for an authentic experience and wanting to make new friends, We would highly recommend that you book at Bahia Tolok.

Una joya escondida

Bahía Tolok es una joya escondida en Isla. Mi novio y yo nos topamos con este hotel mientras buscábamos un lugar donde alojarnos y de inmediato nos recibió con una cálida bienvenida el "Aylin" (gerente del hotel) y su familia. Felizmente nos dieron un recorrido por la propiedad y nos mostraron la habitación antes de registrarnos y nos quedamos muy impresionados con la limpieza y el aspecto general de la propiedad. Es tranquilo, acogedor, cálido y muy limpio. Era exactamente lo que estábamos buscando. Aylin y su familia fueron más que hospitalarios, asegurándose de que todas nuestras necesidades fueran satisfechas.

Las habitaciones eran muy espaciosas y estaban equipadas con cocina y amuebladas con todos los utensilios que necesitas. La piscina es perfecta para darse un chapuzón rápido. Las vistas son increíbles y encantadoras. Hay acceso al agua, perfecto para kayak (disponible a través del hotel) y para explorar.

Además de la propiedad en sí, Aylin y su personal nos recibieron como si fuéramos de la familia. Wilberth, uno de los miembros del personal de mantenimiento fue, con mucho, una de las personas más amables y serviciales que jamás hayamos conocido. Siempre preguntaba si todo estaba bien y si había algo que pudiera hacer por nosotros. Incluso nos llevó al ferry el día que nos fuimos. Aylin era súper dulce, al igual que su esposo, sus hijos y sus amigos. Una de las noches que estuvimos allí pasamos un rato con todas ellas durante horas junto a la piscina. Nos enseñaron español y compartieron historias con nosotros como si fuéramos viejos amigos.
