Cottage is in a historical building dating back to 1861 and has a 60" deck on two sides over looking the ocean. The building was once home to a General store, Post office and a Toy shop.
The interior is set up like a studio, with a foldaway Queen size Murphy bed dining table and sofa bed.
The kitchen leads onto the deck and the bathroom is off the kitchen.
The deck is equipped with a propane barbeque and deck furniture.
There is parking on a level area large enough for any vehicle.

Facing south east approx. 40 feet above sea level you can watch the sun come up. The ocean is ever changing and so is the scenery.
Birchy Head is a old country fishing village with very few inhababitans. The nearest shopping centre is 8 Km away in Hubbard's a spirits store is located in the same mall.
The lower road know as the old public highway which is 2 & 1/2 Km long and is a good walk . There are two small beaches along the road
There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen in the local area.
The cottage is centrally located from Halifax to Lunenburg, Mahome Bay & Chester & Bridgewater There is plenty of parking located on site.
