I want to preface everything I'm about to write by saying my husband and I owned an Airbnb in cottage country and we were superior hosts in ratings. Saying that my review is nothing I didn't say to the hosts My husband and I were staying for 3 weeks and had a great time The communtication was very good however the listing says ground floor and it is actually 2nd floor. For their building it is actually better on the 2nd floor for the beautiful view from your deck. You see over the other buildings and have a view of the ocean. This back deck is covered and nicely furnished however we couldn't eat out there because during 4pm and approx 630pm because the sun is coming in sideways on the deck and is incredibly hot. Many of the condos have pull down shades which I recommended to them. However saying this sunsets are beautiful. We kept all the doors and windows shut eliminating any breeze only because there are 3 buildings behind and beside being constructed so we wanted to eliminate the dust and noise. This is most likely why our hydro was higher. Bertha and Paul were great about picking up supplies since we were arriving late on Sunday and stores would be closing. The condo is advertised as fully equipped however we noticed immediately that there wasn't a toaster but a sandwich maker as well only had paring knives no oven mits or sizzors to open tetra packs that alot of there cream and milk come in. I also wanted to make a large batch of spaghetti meat sauce and there wasn't a pot big enough for the sauce or noodles for 4 if you had 4 people. I emailed Bertha with my request for a toaster, oven mits, knife, sizzors and pot and kutos to them Bertha brought it over. Sign of good hosts. I was told we were the only guest who cook. As I continued cooking I noticed there were no serving dishes or only 1 mixing bowl, only 1 desert/sandwich plate, no 8oz. Tumber glasses. Bertha and I had a personal conversation about this and she explained people break them. I reccomended just plain white melamine plates that way your not running out and even plastic glasses work because if you drop it won't break on the tile. My husband bought an aluminum pizza pan which we left just to through a pizza in the oven but no pans. I know some of these items were requested by Hector Pothier of Edmonton a couple of years earlier as well as a gas bbq. Other guest have commented on the beds and yes extremely hard but berta said getting new ones, hopefully a king.

Property is perfect. Location is great, close to everything. It is well secured. Everything was clean. To our surprise, cleaning of the apartment was included and done once a week. Bertha and Paul are great owners. when I had a question, he response back real fast. We definitely recommend staying at this property

The condo/ apartment was better than we anticipated. Excellent location and amazing sea view to enjoy the sunsets. Superb!!

Great view, great breeze, safe/secure area, well appointed kitchen (non-stick pans actually were in great condition and worked well). We liked not having daily house keeping. We always feel it is an intrusion. Bertha and Paul did a mid-stay freshening up after the first week which was perfect.

Great stay everything we needed, owner very accommodating and pleasant could not have picked a better place to stay. Close to Pirate Beach chairs for rent beach bar and food. Rented a car to tour the island. Great Curaçao experience will definitely come back.

Berths and Paul’s hospitality can’t be beat! They greet you when you arrive and say good bye when you live. The home is well kept. It is relaxing with a great ocean view! It has all of the modern appliances. Berths and Paul are available if you need them. They accommodate our needs to have the second bedroom twin beds put together. You have what you need for towels. The beds are firm and very similar to European style beds. Some may need more pillows but the living room pillows will suffice. We did our best to not be wasteful of water and electricity as that is a prize and expensive resource for the island. With the converter plugs we brought and the ones available in the home we were able to charge our phones. We were close to the grocery store, airport, and downtown. Close but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. We had a car to visit everything at the northwest, northeast, and southwest parts of the island. We enjoyed Cas Abou, Shete Boka, Mambo Beach, Kenepa and Knip Beaches. We learned a lot about the slave trade by visiting Kura Hulanda and Knip plantation. We loved the Queen Emma Bridge. I only wish I had bought one of Caracao’s Beach totes. They are so colorful and reminds me of the beautiful people and the island. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you Bertha and Paul!!

My friend and I stayed here for a week. The home is located on a second floor, with great views of the ocean. The appliances are state of the art, the apartment is super clean, the decor is simple yet beautiful, the beds are comfortable, etc. The pool could have been cleaned a little more often. It was almost always empty, so it was our favorite place to nap under the palm trees. We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Paul and Bertha's apartment for two weeks while working in Curacao. It's a clean apartment with all the modern amenities - centrally located with a great view of the ocean. Paul and Bertha were very accommodating and helpful. A positive experience in all respects.

We booked this condo for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very clean, modern, spacious and centrally located to everything we wanted to see. Should we have friends or family wanting to travel to Curacao, we would certainly recommend highly Paul and Bertha's place.

My husband and I recently spent 7 fantastic nights in Curacao. The island is great and the stay at Paul and Bertha's villa was perfect (as was the weather!). This was our first solo stay at a privately owned property, and the bar has now been raised for all future stays! It definitely exceeded our expectations. The villa itself is beyond clean, modern, roomy and comfortable. The location is safe and convenient. We rented a cute, compact car, which is necessary to explore the island. The drive from the villa to downtown is only 10 minutes and the handful of "postcard-esque" beaches we explored were only 30-40 minutes away. Thank you so much Paul & Bertha for your wonderful hospitality! We couldn't have asked for a better vacation!!
