We have rented several villas over the last several years and we were very happy with this property. The house has a fabulous pool and many gorgeous beaches nearby. It is spacious and has lots of indoor and outdoor space to relax. We loved the indoor and outdoor kitchens and thought both were exceptionally well equipped. The house was very clean and is very well maintained! Susan, the property manager, was always responsive to our questions both before we arrived and during our visit. Her recommendations for restaurants and activities were spot on! We had a great visit and hope to return.

One of the best vacations we've ever had!
This house gave us one of the best vacations we've ever had! It felt like being in a resort just for us. It has everything and anything you might need, and quite a few you never knew you needed. The views are breathtaking and the layout of the rooms around the pool make it inviting, relaxing and luxurious. The fully-equipped TV room was great for lazy afternoons after a day at the (gorgeous!!) beach. The kitchen is perfect to gather everyone around a great meal or just hot dogs on the BBQ. The terraces are the perfect setting to take in the ever-changing blues of the sea. SO looking forward to coming back!

Perfect!
This house is perfect. The open, airy inside to outside living, with poured concrete surfaces means that it always feels clean and breezy, which is not always true of island homes. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were 3 couples and cooked some extravagant meals. The house has a 3 zone sonos, really well placed lighting in all the exterior areas, great A/C in the bedrooms and fans everywhere. The pool is just right; landscaping is gorgeous. Best house we have rented. What made it truly over the top was Susan. She is more concierge than property manager. Her restaurant, car rental, sailing and shopping recommendations were spot on and much appreciated. She was available 24/7 for all of our silly questions. She went above and beyond, even going to the airport to get luggage that didn't make it to our flight so we could spend the day at the beach. Thank you for the best vacation ever. You can't go wrong with this rental. Do it.

Expectations Exceeded
Just spent a week at Paraiso and will say it simply exceeded our expectations. The pictures posted are spot on, but there's something the pictures will never capture and that's the never ending tropical breeze. My favorite area of the house was the rooftop sitting area, great view and the beauty of Vieques and Isabella II is well captured here. I was with another family, eight of us and had plenty of space. Everything in the house was of quality, appliances, kitchen, furniture, etc. The location of the home is set perfect and a nice walk to the bakery, grocery stores, shops etc in Isabella II.
We had a really minor problem with the outdoor grill and Susan the caretaker was all over it and resolved it quickly and painlessly. Susan, was awesome very responsive and extremely resourceful. I've given Susan the name "Super Susan" she's all over the island I believe she may even have her own cape!
Bill the owner sent me a great email after our stay and his commitment to his home and pleasing his guests are a high priority.
My family and I loved Paraiso and will stay here again without any hesitation.
Thank you Bill and Susan for making great memories for my family.

Marvelous house in Isabel II, Vieques
Our family of 4 (2 adults and a 12 and 10 year old) and our friend’s family of 3 (2 adults and one 13 year old) stayed five fabulous nights Paraiso in February 2015. Upon arriving, we were met at the ferry by the house manager’s (Susan) friend Jorge, who drove us to pick up our rental Jeeps. This was an unexpected and super nice gesture. Susan met us at the home on time and was close by in case we had questions or needed something; it was helpful having her list of favorite places to visit. In the garage, the gardeners left us a huge bunch of freshly picked and super sweet bananas from the grounds; each morning we would cut bananas from the bunch.
The location of the house to the ferry and town was convenient, and in walking distance. The town itself had grocery markets which supplied most items we needed to cook meals, a sandwich shop, a bank with ATM and Panadaria La Viequensie, a bakery that makes the most delicious donuts! The neighborhood around the house was very quiet.
The owners did a fine job with the house’s layout and with the amenities chosen. The multiple views are fantastic and the open floor plan made for a comfortable, breezy stay for 7 people. The house was clean and provided most of the comforts of home. The kitchen was well stocked and we very much enjoyed cooking and eating in for breakfast and some dinners. Each night we would sit by the outdoor fire to plan our next day, and swim in the pool. We particularly appreciated having use of beach towels, bags, umbrellas and chairs; it made our time on those beautiful (and uncrowded) beaches even more enjoyable. The A/C in the bedrooms did a nice job of muffling the island’s roosters. The rooftop was perfect for star gazing.
We hope to get back to Vieques sooner than later. Thanks to Paraiso for helping to make our stay so comfortable and memorable.

As good as it gets!
We recently had the good fortune of staying at Paraiso for five days with another family. What you see and what you read about this beautiful home is only exceeded by actually experiencing it. Dinners prepared in the extraordinarily stocked kitchen and on the grill were effortless and just plain fun. Mood music through the plentiful speakers and with the Sonos system was wonderful. Evenings by the fire pit with a glass of wine , and the canopy of stars overhead amazing.
The place really is new and in superb condition. The beds are very comfortable, there are plush towels and even robes. Beach towels are supplied and there is a very nice laundry to keep things fresh. For your days exploring all the amazing beaches they even supply Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas! Susan the manager lives next door and is a great "in" to all that Vieques has to offer.
If you haven't travelled to Vieques before some tips:
As soon as you decide to go and secure your lodging, rent a jeep. You will need one and they can go quickly so don't be left out.
Although air conditioning is really not necessary, they do have individual mini splits in each bedroom for comfort. If you choose to not use them, you may want to bring ear plugs because the plentiful and loud rooster population welcome each new day beginning at 4 am.
The Bio Bay is well known and was so much better than any of us had even imagined. Do not go to Vieques without experiencing that gem.
