House on the Rocks is a fabulous villa with a spectacular view within walking distance to the beach. We were very well taken care of by the property manager and the housekeeper. The owner was very helpful and informative with traveling there to activities to dinner recommendations. We were very comfortable and would certainly recommend this villa to anyone looking for an over the top vacation!

On the Rocks Villa is the most perfect vacation home! The finishes are beautiful, the accommodations are wonderful, there is plenty of space for a large family, the view is spectacular, and we love how the beach is so close to the house. It’s even walking distance to the Top of the Baths! Even with the damage to the island caused by the hurricane, much has been done to rebuild and it is still such an amazing place to come for vacation! The island still offers plenty of activities and great food, including catamaran rentals, snorkeling, and the always delicious Coco Maya and Hog Heaven! Can’t wait to come back! We loved "On The Rocks" in Virgin Gorda! The family has vacationed there before as a regular destination and this time even after the hurricane it is still the best place on earth. If you are looking for a relaxing trip to enjoy the weather, spectacular views and beautiful beaches, exploring massive rocks, mountain top jungle hikes, blue ocean fishing, calm sailing, snorkeling with the turtles and who knows what else you will see, you can have it all in this island house of perfection. “PARADISE FOUND! Our stay at On The Rocks surpassed our expectations! A perfect vacation, active yet relaxing, in a beautiful villa with all the amenities. The owners anticipated our every need. We loved the ocean views and nearby white sandy beach ... and oh, those splendid rocks ... the owners found the perfect name for their retreat! We were surprised by the number of outstanding restaurants; we followed the Manager's recommendations and enjoyed a wide variety of sophisticated cuisines. And, we were most impressed by the people, who were so welcoming, lots of smiles on every face! This is our first choice for fun in the sun ... the weather was perfect, of course!”

5 Stars for “On the Rocks!” We expected a luxurious villa with great views, but we got so much more…we were blown away. Maybe the best description of On the Rocks is perfection. After our week with two other couples we all concluded we had experienced the perfect vacation! Where to begin…the property was exquisite. On the Rocks is nestled amongst the world-famous gigantic boulders of Virgin Gorda and a perfectly manicured Caribbean landscape of shrubs, trees and flowers that made you feel like you have the island to yourself. Being only a few minute’s walk from the beach was so convenient we did it several times a day. And the beaches were more spectacular than any we had every seen. They were simply remarkable! The central living area was definitely designed for entertaining. The kitchen was perfect for the “group” cooking sessions we shared several times a day. This was open to the living room and dining area, which allowed for all of us to be in the conversation regardless of where we were in the room. We loved the Viking range and all the upscale amenities you would hope to find in a world-class villa. I think our favorite space on the property was the patio. Every moment we spent there brought new and unique views of Little Trunk Bay, the most desirable location on the island. There were times when we were entertained by groups of yachts racing past our porch deck. Of course we spotted the occasional cruise ship or two crossing our perfectly positioned vantage point. There was never a time when we did not have a view to behold. But mostly we were mesmerized by the natural beauty of the Caribbean blue water and the ever changing conditions of the weather, sunsets, sun rises, and everything in between. It was very difficult to leave “our glorious view” at the end of the week. The individual bedroom suites were each completely different, yet each one was highly appealing in its own way. I am convinced each couple thought they had the “best” accommodations. We enjoyed the privacy of our suite a few dozen yards’ walk from the shared living area. It was so peaceful and private. We almost forgot we were sharing the property with others. On the Rocks is a vacation villa like no other we have ever experienced. We truly loved it and completely enjoyed our week to its full extent because we had such a great place to share with our friends. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Let me begin by saying I'm a die-hard Hawaii-fan, Kauai to be precise. My friends were curious to see how On The Rocks, Virgin Gorda, would measure up to my impossible standards. Well, in four words, I was blown away. I am utterly in love with this place and all that it has to offer. I have a great deal of trouble relaxing and unwinding on vacation, but On The Rocks was the most relaxing vacation I've ever had. The house is stunning without being pretentious and there is no amenity overlooked. The bedroom suites are magical. The outdoor showers are a delight. The views are out of this world and the pool is perfect. We kayaked, swam, snorkeled, hiked, ate fabulous food, got massaged, boated to neighboring islands, and generally felt like adults at summer camp. I've been fortunate enough to visit On The Rocks twice, and I will return as often and as soon as I can!

We had an amazing time at On The Rocks. The photos give you a great feel for the gathering spaces and the lovely, comfortable bedrooms. We were with 3 other couples and the group spaces are terrific, relaxed, comfortable, and there is also ample space to spread out to read and nap. We loved the "upper" terrace views and also enjoyed lounging by the pool on the lower terrace....that is, when we weren't enjoying the beaches. The villa is also conveniently located to restaurants, The Baths, and the grocery. On The Rocks is a beautiful, comfortable villa, with access to all of the island's beauty. We plan to return.

Our stay at On the Rocks exceeded expectations. The only difficulty was deciding whether to stay at this beautiful villa and lounge by the pool --- or venture out to the quiet, pristine beaches, which are a two minute walk away. The owners have paid attention to every detail in every room and area of this magical place. The property manager is wonderful. She is always available to answer any query about anything. A wonderful place to celebrate my birthday with friends and family. Our next decision: when are we going back?!

The other reviews on this website sum up On the Rocks very well leaving little to add. It is, simply, perfection. The villa is architecturally stunning, the accommodations in every room are luxurious, the views are superb, and the entire place is designed to let guests relax. We have now rented OTR 5 times and it always feels like our Caribbean home. The pictures and description do not do it justice. The beach is just a two minute walk from the villa and is quiet and interesting with excellent snorkeling. A short walk or swim away from that beach is Trunk Valley Bay, which is probably the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean. There isn't one thing I'd change about it and I cannot recommend this villa highly enough.
