We rented this property for the month of August to reconnect with family that we had been unable to visit for awhile. Tara was a very attentive host and addressed any concerns or issues very quickly during our stay. We felt Mixal lake like was like our own private resort, sometimes paddle boarding and only us on the lake! Even in the hot weather we made use of the hot tub early in the morning or late night under the stars. Many games of croquet and ladderball were played on the large property. The surronding area is great for day hikes or other close by lakes that you may want to try. We were sad to go but definetely would return!!!

Very private property in a natural setting neighbourhood, perfect for relaxation and exploring the nearby areas. The home was very cozy and well equipped. Easy to settle in for a family with a baby and grandparents. The fireplace and outdoor firepit were very useful as was the soaker bath and hot tub. Thank you for setting up the swing and crib and toys. All was very much enjoyed and appreciated. A very memorable visit to the Sunshine Coast!

Beautiful, quiet, forested area with great sun exposure all day. Mixal Lake nearby was a great place to swim and relax. This property had all of the amenities as described and the home was nicely decorated and clean and tidy. We will be returning again!

It is such a beautiful property and location, we didn't want to leave and will definitely go back. The property and home had an amazing lay out. The owners were awesome. Any questions we had were answered immediately. The property was the most well stocked property we have ever rented. There was so much wild life around. The lakes were so clean and warm. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. The location had everything you could want in a vacation and very private. I really can't say enough good things about Rockridge Cabin! The entire family recommends it!

Tara made us very welcome and the cabin could not have been better for a lakeside stay and for us to explore/get to know this part of the Sunshine Coast ahead of buying property in BC ourselves. It was spacious, very well stocked (incl use of the canoe and life jackets). It had a real homely feel to it which made us very relaxed and able to make it our home/base for a full five weeks. The garden setting and wildlife made it a very special place. Tara’s an excellent host, giving us tips on where you go, what to do and where’s best for certain activities. First class! Highly recommended.

We so enjoyed staying at your wonderful home and really enjoyed swimming in the private lake. It reminded us of the home we use to own in the Columbia River Gorge. Thank you again.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. Perfect location - lots to do a short walk or drive away, but also fun just hanging around and enjoying the quiet!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is situated amongst trees with complete privacy and several lakes nearby. Each night the girls would have a late night swim and hot tub before bed. All the lakes are clean and great for swimming and paddle boarding. We enjoyed going for ice cream by the harbour only 10 minutes away. Found star fish by the ocean and enjoyed a hike nearby. Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for rest and relaxation. Wonderful family trip. Thanks Tara!
