Lujoso apartamento con impresionantes vistas sobre la Playa de Las Canteras. Luminoso y moderno (reformado en el año 2.010), consta de dos dormitorios (uno doble y otro individual), salón-cocina, baño y terraza. Permite alojar cómodamente a dos adultos más niño y bebé. Completamente equipado, con TV, DVD, TV satélite, Wifi, horno, microondas, lavadora y vitrocerámica. Acceso directo al paseo de la playa, zona tranquila con amplia oferta de restaurantes y bares, así como farmacia y supermercado.

there is a lift up to the Apartment on the 7th floor, it is very quiet we slept with the Patio window open every night listening to the waves & waking to the fantastic view of the Ocean, it was clean with plenty of space for clothes, there is a Supermarket about 5 mins walk up road, Bus station is about 10 mins walk, where we visited a few places from & had a couple of organised trips with Excursions Gran Canaria,we also had a 30 mins walk to Doramas park which is ok for 30 mins stay.

Delightful apartment in a lovely location
The apartment was indeed luxurious, with its floor-to-ceiling glass doors running the whole width of the apartment and opening onto the balcony, and its fantastic views of Las Canteras Beach, the sweep of the bay, and the mountains beyond. The photos do not lie! It was wonderful to hear the sound of the sea all night, and to wake up to such amazing views from your bed! (There were blinds, but we never used them.)
We were only there for a week, and we ate out in the evenings, so we only really needed the fridge and the kettle in the way of appliances - but we enjoyed breakfasts, aperitifs, and ‘night-caps’ on the lovely balcony. For anyone opting for total self-catering, everything needed was provided: a proper cooker with oven; a microwave; a fridge-freezer; a kettle and coffee machine; and full cooking utensils, china, cutlery etc. (Although I don’t recall that there was a toaster. We didn’t need one as we bought fresh baguettes and breakfast/picnic stuff from the Dino supermarket on the corner every morning.) There was also a washing machine – but we didn’t need to use it.
The location was perfect for us as our plans involved exploring the island on foot and by public bus. We visited a great many places, including Puerto de Las Nieves, the dunes of Maspalomas, San Mateo and Teror, and the Bandama volcano. (I will respond on Trip Advisor to any questions about our experience of walks and walking trails.)
The bus service is great! Bus 60 from the airport to Santa Catalina took 40 minutes,and only cost 2.95E! It was then a 20 min walk to Calle Portugal.
Bus 17 from a few minutes away, on the corner of Av. José Mesa y López, took 10 minutes to San Telmo for connections south and inland, and cost 1.40E.
Fernando and Luis were great with keeping in touch and sorting out problems. Luis came almost immediately when we texted him to say we had problems with connecting to wifi.
To help future guests on arrival, it would be nice to have some information leaflets, maps and a bus timetable booklet in the Information Folder. The Tourist Information offices were not very helpful! A couple of other reminders for future guests: 1) The balcony does not have a roof. We left our walking boots out overnight – and it rained! 2) There are no warning stickers on the glass doors. 3) The water in the shower sometimes runs cold quite quickly. 4) The cupboard over the kitchen sink is forehead-height!

Apartmento De Lujo, Las Canteras
A lovely apartment in a stunning location right on Las Canteras promenade on the beach. View from the flat is superb. Had a great welcome from Fernando’s brother Luis. Much appreciated welcome pack provided after a long journey. Everything required on the door step. Much preferred this area to the usual haunts maspalomas,etc.

Fantastic stay in a great apartment
We stayed for 9 nights at the end of January.
First off, Fernando was great at keeping in touch, responding immediately to any emails. When we arrived, we met Luis, his brother, who was really welcoming and friendly.
The apartment is better than the pictures show, light, very clean, and the view of the beach and the sea is breathtaking.
Everything you could need is within walking distance. The bus station to take you all over the island is ten minutes away, there is a decent shop thirty seconds up the road, the promenade and beach are just outside the building and there are numerous great bars and restaurants within a ten minute walk.
The building is quiet, and over nine days we only saw two other people who lived there.
Brilliant hosts and a lovely apartment in a beautiful city. I would recommend anyone going to Las Palmas to book with Luis and Fernando!

Fabulous apartment in great location
We spent a week in this apartment in mid December. It is situated right on the beachfront of Las Canteras. The apartment was spotless and nicely furnished in minimalist style and filled with light, The lounge and bedroom face directly onto the Atlantic and it was fantastic to open the glass doors and hear the sound of the ocean. The open plan kitchen was fully equipped including a washing machine, hob, oven and fridge freezer. The bathroom had a large walk in shower. We were greeted at the apartment by Luis, the brother of the owner, Fernando. Luis owns a restaurant nearby and invited us to pop in if we had any problems. He explained everything about the apartment to us. Fernando also sent us text messages during our visit to make sure everything was all right. We also enjoyed a lovely meal at Luis’s restaurant, 180 Grados, where we enjoyed delicious home cooked fresh food. The apartment was located near a wide range of restaurants both on the beach and in the nearby town. Fernando gave us a number of good recommendations and we were not disappointed with the ones we tried. I would thoroughly recommend this centrally located apartment to those looking for a city break and beach combined holiday.

Top Ferienwohnung direkt am Strand
Die Ferienwohnung ist großartig und ideal auch für eine kleine Familie mit Kind. Vom Haus hat man einen Ausgang direkt zum Stadtstrand. Mit dem Bus aber auch zu Fuß kommt man gut überall gut hin. Die Fotos der Wohnung versprechen nicht zu viel. Der Vermieter Fernando unterstützt mit hilfreichen Tipps und Information. Jederzeit gerne wieder! Muchas gracias Fernando, nuestra estancia ha sido de maravilla.

Perfect Ocean View Apartment
The apartment is the best I have ever stayed at. The view from the glass fronted terrace through the double patio doors was amazing. Waking up to the sea ever morning was such a delight. The apartment has everything you could want or need for your holiday and Luis and Fernando are there if you have any problems or questions. The bread, ham and wine for our first meal were greatly appreciated. The washing machine was a definite bonus. The Las Canteras is a great place to stay with more bars and restaurants that anyone could visit, it had an fabulous beach and the promenade which is over 3 miles long is great for walking off those inches. The beach to the right and along a bit is nicer than the one directly outside. If you are interested in water sports you need the beaches along and to the left of the apartment. All in all I would recommend this apartment to any couple or family with a small child. Access is great as the lift is just outside the door.

Estancia estupenda
Estuvimos muy a gusto en el apartamento. Lo mejor dormirse escuchando el mar y despertarse con esas fantásticas vistas. Muy bien situado. Los dueños muy amables.

Vistas insuperables
Apartamento perfecto. Limpio, moderno y completo. No le falta detalle. Fernando y Luis son grandes anfitriones haciendo la estancia lo más cómoda posible. Hemos ido con un bebé de 6 meses y nos dejaron cuna y trona. Lo mejor, las vistas al mar. Volveríamos a repetir.
