Our aim is to help you to get the most out of your vacation - but we appreciate that is different for everybody...in short we will be there for you as much, or as little as you prefer.
This was the first time in a long time that as a family we haven’t taken the all inclusive holiday resort route as we never ended up leaving the resort, feeling we could be anywhere in the world, missing experiencing local cuisine, culture, and history.
Serenity in Bequia was like a breath of fresh air. Being up in the hills was quieter and more relaxing with arguably the best view on the island, you really felt you had found tranquility! It’s seclusion felt like a chance to drop out of the rat race for a few weeks but a only short 5 min taxi ride and you have all the hustle and bustle of a vibrant Caribbean market town and best of all the beaches, bars and restaurants which were some of the best we have ever visited on all our travels.
Iv’e only been back in the UK for a week and I am already missing the lush greenery, drinking a beer in the sea at Princess Margaret Beach, the incredible Mangos, the amazing food, the crazy strong local Sunset Rum Punches, the friendliness of locals who always have a smile for you and most of all our hosts and the owners of Serenity, Karen and Russ whose local knowledge of the island and the people were invaluable and really set this holiday apart from anywhere else we have stayed.
They pointed us in the direction of the best places to eat for this season, best places for sundowner drinks ensuring we always had the best experiences, and really got to enjoy the best from Bequia. They guided us where to truly enjoy some of what will become some of our most treasured and memorable family experiences ranging from a tour around Firefly plantation where we got to try fresh coconut and sugarcane water, sailing past MoonHole (you might have to google it!) to feeling like royalty for the day on trip to the exclusive island of Mustique.
The Serenity property itself was amazing, decorated and furnished to a very high standard, every door and window fully screened meant we were not bitten alive by mosquitoes and we could enjoy that lovely island breeze. The garden was immaculate and the pool is properly maintained and best of all naturally warm! When we were there the pool was 31 degrees.
The garden was so relaxing we would often sit there at night listing to the frog chorus and watching fire flies. Also, having no direct neighbours close or even visible meant Serenity felt very private and secluded.
In the harbour there were was a wide range of restaurants so there was something for everyone, from amazing locally caught seafood at Laura’s, to the best Pizza I’ve had outside NewYork at Max’s and don’t get me started on the local snack Roti’s which are so much better than the ones I’ve had in the UK.
If you want to ‘escape to paradise’ on your next holiday I can whole heartedly recommend Serenity Villa in Bequia

Truly home from home but even better. Stunning accommodation, spotlessly clean and everything and more you could need.
Beautiful gardens surround the pool and the view is uninterrupted. With no neighbours overlooking you have a truly exclusive stay.
Thankfully tucked away up in Spring so you benefit from refreshing breezes that were really appreciated when the beaches are too hot making Serenity’s pool just perfect. The villa is fully screened you get to keep nature outside.
At night you can spot the tiny little frogs sing you to sleep and I was lucky enough to see the rare Rufus Vented Chacalaca bird in the garden at Serenity.
We had the most amazing time, Karen and Russell take all the guesswork out of your holiday so you don’t waste time and start discovering and relaxing straight away.
I can’t imagine a more perfect place to stay.

Adventures in Paradise at the Serenity Villa
Return to Serenity Villa Upper Level for my Second Winter in Paradise.
I first reviewed this property after a wonderful 9 week stay in February-April 2022 (please read).
And this year I returned for another marvelous 9 week winter escape to paradise in February-April 2023.
This year I looked at a lot of first class rental properties for friends wanting to come to Bequia and I also spent time visiting friends in their lovely homes.
I wouldn’t switch with of them!
Serenity Villa is a uniquely beautiful property in a spectacular location and setting. And equally importantly, are the wonderful owners Karen and Russ Smith, who have become great friends and shown me all the ropes to enjoying beautiful Bequia to the fullest. They work tirelessly to constantly improve the spectacular grounds and villa,
only enhanced by it’s incredible view of Spring Bay and the ocean and islands beyond. A view that changes constantly throughout the day and bright moon lit nights.
The house has every comfort you need and the kitchen amenities will delight any great cook. I should add Karen and Russ are both amazing and innovative cooks as you will happily find out.
I truly found paradise in Serenity Villa and have already booked another 9 weeks in February-April 2024.
If you are lucky enough to find open dates to rent, grab them immediately!
You will more than love the full Serenity Villa experience on the gorgeous island of Bequia.

Once you find Paradise - you keep returning :-)
After my amazing stay at Serenity Villas last year, I just had to return. Add the magic of Christmas and New Year with delightful hosts Karen and Russell, I wouldn't celebrate in other way.
I stayed in the upper villa at Serenity with my friends, and it was just like home. Karen and Russ had adorned the villa with a Christmas tree and tasteful decorations to add to the ambience and festivities of Christmas. We were provided with a hostie pack which settled us in straight away without having to worry about getting in any food, snacks and drinks. They are forward thinking loaning us a local mobile phone to assist us when calling for taxis and were on hand to suggest new bars and restaurants to visit as well of recommending new boat tours. Add the adventures of Mustique, Tobago Cays, Canoun and St Vincent to the mix and once again, I had the perfect holiday.
Bequia is a jewel in the Grenadines and with such a delightful residence and hosts, I know I will be back again, hopefully soon. Thank you Karen and Russ.

Complete Bliss !!
We arrived in Bequia on December 22nd met at the port by hosts Karen & Russ, this was my second visit to serenity villas and I was excited to bring my partner along to see what "all the fuss was about " He very soon understood 100%
Not only is the villa an amazing home away from home with every commodity in place you can think of, you are met with the most amazing view of spring bay and lush green landscapes, outside you have a stunning pool and landscaped ared with covered gazebo and BBQ area ( Russel is also an amazing chef and cooked us up a storm) The home is immaculately presented and sparkling clean you can absolutely feel the love and dedication Karen and Russel have put into serenity!
We were lucky to be on the island for Christmas and new year both were amazing occasions and again Russell and Karen assisted in us having the best time.
As they have such amazing knowledge of Bequid and the surrounding area and islands we were introduced to some fantastic trips and visited the cays, mystique and St Vincent along with visiting some local attractions on Bequia, be warned green tea is actually the local beer and sunset rum means you will be seeing stars if you break the rule of 2
Rich and I had the most amazing time and already we are planning to return; if you like amazing sunrises and sunsets, stunning beaches with clear waters, beautiful green countyside, and a warm welcome from the best hosts you won't be disappointed with Bequia, serenity villas and Karen and Russel .

Simply “Thank you”
From the moment we stepped on to the island of Bequia, we felt like we had found our paradise
This was made possible by our welcome and the genuine feeling of passion for the island from our hosts at Serenity Russel and Karen,
Serenity is the perfect mix of 5 star quality in a self contained apartment with all the facility’s you would ever need, mixed with the homely relaxed atmosphere provided, then add to this the jaw dropping views of the idyllic bay below from the balcony and bedrooms. Then add to this the beautiful swimming pool, sun deck and dinning area with bbq, and you know you have found a jewel..
Our hosts along with their apartment, just made our holiday with their true passion for this island, they made us feel more than welcome and everyone of their recommendations we perfect.. ( beeches, bars, restaurants and boat trips 1000% )
Thank you again .. as you already know we will return …

Perfect location over looking Spring Bay.
The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. It has its own private pool and terraces with plenty of seating. It is located up in the hills with fabulous views over looking Spring Bay. There is a short drive to the beaches where you will find a number of Caribbean restaurants. Karen and Russell ( the owners) are fabulous hosts and know the island if you need any guidance. Fabulous week and looking to booking again in 23.

A Spectacular Villa Rental In Bequia
I had the great pleasure of spending 9 weeks at Serenity Villa in Bequia this February-April 2022 after escaping wintry NYC.
It is a gorgeous property set on a mountain top overlooking beautiful Spring Bay and 3 of the Grenadine Islands beyond. Needless to say, I spent a great deal of time enjoying this amazing view throughout the day with it's ever changing light
The property is filled with beautiful tropical gardens always in full bloom and a multilevel pool area and BBQ. It is totally wonderful with every comfort and a shaded pergola, the perfect spot for all meals.
The upper level of the villa is 2 bedrooms and a large living room and dining area with a beautiful dining table and a large, fully appointed kitchen with every conceivable cooking utensil you could possibly want.
It opens up to a full length, expansive veranda with the amazing view, another large dining table and very comfortable furniture and lounges throughout.
The very tastefully decorated bedrooms have great views and the beds are first class with high end French linens. The bathrooms are spacious with excellent towels and lots of storage space.
The living room features a late model flat screen tv, and a CD player with an excellent selection of CD's and DVD's. And if you are an avid reader, the library features a world class selection of books.
The property is beautifully decorated throughout and could not be more comfortable and there is a charming studio available on the lower level if you need the extra room.
Saving the best for last, the owners are the immensely charming, capable and incredibly helpful Karen and Russ who left their native home in England to build this paradise in Bequia.
They will anticipate your every need and make sure you have the best time possible on their immaculately kept property and on beautiful Bequia. They will ensure you have great island adventures and dine at the best restaurants. You will count them as great friends by the time you leave and I guarantee you will soon return to Serenity Villa.
I could not rate this gorgeous property and it's owners more highly.

An enchanting unique Caribbean Paradise
SERENITY VILLA on BEQUIA is a treasure. Russ and Karen are gracious hosts who provide the perfect balance of acquainting you to the island and ensuring a peaceful private retreat. The swimming pool's crystal clear blue waters are surrounded by tropical flowers, hummingbirds, and comfortable lounge chairs. The ocean view is spectacular at all hours of the day from the pool, terrace and inside the villa itself. The furnishings, kitchen set up, art works and reading materials make for a great stay.
Linens and towels are plentiful and the bed is so comfortable that only the beauty of Bequia calling you to explore, gets one up and out. Afternoon naps, or quiet reading on the terrace are a treat after a morning walk, frolic in the ocean waters, or swim in the pool. Island dining is varied with delicious local delicacies. Most restaurants are open air with a friendly atmosphere and island decor. If you are seeking Caribbean culture, open markets, boating, water sports and beautiful vistas and interesting people come to SERENITY VILLA-BEQUIA.

Exquisite accommodation with stunning views
We have just returned from our stay at Serenity Villa. Even though we had stayed before, we were again blown away with the stunning views over Spring Bay.
As you walk into the property your eyes are immediately drawn to the large verandah and the amazing views beyond to Spring Bay.
The villa has a large open plan living, kitchen and dining area with large en-suite bedrooms at each end. All the rooms are superbly furnished and everything we needed was there.
The pool and gardens provide beautiful outside space for relaxing with comfortable furniture for lounging and dining.
Our hosts Russ and Karen couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. They graciously shared their knowledge of the island to make our stay truly enjoyable.
Will we be back? Yes of course. Serenity Villa has it all. It ticks all the boxes for comfort and relaxation.
