This was a very nice and comfortable apartment with all the modern amenities. The view from the balcony of the Lykavitos is incredible, and the Varnava/Pangkrati location is a very lively and non-touristy place to stay. I liked that this listing seemed like a pretty typical Athenian apartment instead of a luxury resort for tourists. There are several amazing restaurants within walking distance (Gepetto, Colibri, O Elvis, and many others) along with a supermarket and pharmacies which should have anything you'll likely need. You're a 15min walk from the National Botanical Garden, Hadrian's Gate, and Syntagma, so you're close to the center of the city, from which you can get anywhere via the metro, but you're in a quiet and peaceful area. Dimitris was an incredibly helpful host. He will arrange you a taxi or tours to wherever you want to go, recommend great restaurants and places to go, and answer any questions you have about the apartment or about Athens. He is very responsive and will answer the phone or answer messages on Tripadvisor. If you're looking for a low-key place to stay in a lively part of Athens with tons of good food and without so many tourists, this is definitely somewhere you should stay. Thanks again Dimitris!

Excellent apartment for tourists and travellers who look for 'home feeling' accomodation in the center of Athens. I strongly agree to all previous reviews which detail accurately all the advantages and the benefits of this property.

Before arrival, Dimitris provided excellent advance information about the area we would be staying in and described various shops, restaurants, museums and attractions. The Museum of Archaeology is directly across the street. The apartment itself had a beautiful view over Athens directly towards the Acropolis and at night the view was spectacular with the Parthenon lit up.There was plenty of space for the three of us, with a convertible divan in the living room where our 15yr old daughter slept. All the amenities worked fine and we had no problems at all. Local transportation options were also easy and convenient. We would definitely recommend this as a very economical, clean and comfortable option to the usual tourist hotels to be found in Athens.

This apartment is as advertised. It’s very clean and the views are wonderful. Close to everything. The owner is top notch and very responsive. I would hope all owners are this great. I don’t think we could have booked any better for the money. 5 stars for sure.

The apartment is superb. It is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and the views of the Acropolis are amazing. Dimitris and his Dad were very welcoming and made sure our stay was comfortable. They provided us with excellent maps showing where to find shops and restaurants, which saved a lot of time.

Next door to the Archeological Museum and near transport. Good restaurants in the area, Not far from the Radisson Blu to give you an idea of the neighbourhood. People very friendly. The host Dimitris is very understated but he leaves excellent information of local stores, restaurants and attractions of Athens. He arranged our taxi from the airport. He leaves you to your own devices. Recommended.

El departamento se encuentra muy bien ubicado frente al Museo Arqueológico, con medios de comunicación que facilitan el desplazamiento, y en un barrio tranquilo. Muy cómodo y con detalles de calidad, se halla dispuesto y amueblado de forma impecable, para brindar una estadía óptima. El anfitrión, Dimitris, es excelente y está siempre pendiente de toda inquietud y necesidad. Espectacular balcón terraza con vista al Partenón. El lugar perfecto para alojarse en Atenas.

When I arrived was greeted by Dimitris who showed us around and was exceptionally helpful. We had maps, suggestions what to do, eat, see and visit. The apartment was as it was described as very clean and a great balcony with fantastic views. Some welcome food was left out and very appreciated. There is only one very minor thing and that was the bath was a sit-in type with a shower overhead so I strip washed every day as it seemed easier. The kitchen was fully specced but we only used the kettle when we were there. All in all, a very nice place to stay and I would recommend this accommodation. Lastly, thank you Dimitris
