We had a fantastic weeks stay in Sunhill Cottage - thanks to Bridget and her husband who gave us a warm welcome (and applie pie) after we had to change plans last minute.
The house was perfect: spacious, plenty of bathrooms to get all the troops ready quickly in the morning, big garden to enjoy some sunshine and so, so quiet !!
Every morning being greeted by the "Reeks" - the mountain range visible from living room, kitchen and/or dining room - it was just stunning and very beautiful to behold.
We had dinners mostly at home and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking and preparing full size meals for 6 people and it is so spacious - allowing multiple people to get on with the job.
Killorglin town centre is just a 5 min walk down the road and a very nice place with all amenities in easy reach.
It is also a great base for daytrips exploring the Ring of Kerry (Skelligs, Dingle, Reeks) or venturing further north (Tralee) etc.
Bridget and her husband were very welcoming and were wonderful with assisting with finding additional information on places to go to and last minute offers.
We had a fantastic week in Ireland, made very special by Bridget, her husband and Sunhill Cottage.
We highly recommend this cottage and are looking forward to coming again (to explore the many things we haven't had a chance yet to see).
