We stayed here for a week in July, and it was a fabulous back drop to our time on the island. The cottage is only a 2 min walk down a bright red dirt road to the beach. The beach was private and serene, and our children loved exploring the tide pools and looking for sea glass. The cottage is definitely a 2 bedroom, with a loft that we used as a third space to sleep. The wraparound deck was the perfect spot to take in the AMAZING view. Unreal! Loved it!

My wife and I really enjoyed this house in what seemed like the middle of nowhere, but once we discovered all the places to visit in the area, it turned out to be perfect. We enjoyed coming "home" to this very interesting location. The house had everything we needed to make the stay wonderful. As we are from Miami, this "middle of nowhere" experience was a welcome change. We took day trips to places all around us, and when we returned "home", we would sit on the porch thinking of the traffic and madness of Miami and how peaceful we were at the moment surrounded by so much open space. The owner was amazing and fantastic and if she reads this review, she will know exactly what I mean. We really loved everything about this unique home and location!

We loved this property! The views cannot be beat!!...
We loved this property! The views cannot be beat!! New property with all the amenities. We appreciated the 2 bathrooms. Beaches nearby for walking. No AC but strong breezes and good windows. The breezes help keep mosquitos away. Beautiful artwork! This is not a cottage for very large people, the furniture and indoor shower are modest size- not a problem for us!!
Beds comfortable and linens great quality. We hope to be back!

The property is neat, clean, and very well-stocked. The property manager was very responsive when we reported trouble with the gas grill. Communications around the required departure time by 10:15am, or else incur a $250 fee was off-putting, but this didn't impact our enjoyment of the stay. Would definitely recommend it to others.
