My wife and I live in a very well located apartment, two blocks away from the tourist and shopping district of Miraflores, the modern center of Lima. We offer for rent 1 of the rooms in our apartment. We are happy to serve visitors who come to us. I am an inveterate traveler, Google Local Guide level 8, tourist guide and chef, all of which helps our guests enjoy a more pleasant stay, rich in special experiences. We speak English, Papiamento and Spanish and we would love to share our experiences and stories with you and your group, and hear yours. Our interests are traveling, cooking, talking about world geopolitics, "fixing" the world with our great ideas (yes!), trying all kinds and brands of olive oil and coffee that we can, and collecting Peruvian banknotes and coins. The room we offer is very spacious, fully furnished, with a wall-to-wall built-in closet. In it there is ample space for three single beds, or for a double (full) bed and a single bed; it has a private bathroom attached to it. Nearby, within walking distance, we have the Huaca La Merced, which is an archaeological center of the Ichma culture, which flourished between 900 and 1470 AD. In addition, there are parks and areas for walking, pharmacies, bakeries, supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, two shopping centers, etc. As for your security: the urbanization where the apartment is located is safe, with street surveillance service provided by the municipality. The apartment has an armored door to access it and a safe in each room. Also, if you like, you can be offered optional hospitalization insurance for accidents or illness. We have a selection of teas and infusions, as well as organic coffee, which are at your free disposal in the kitchen, to which you have access. Likewise, the dining room, living room and common areas are at your disposal. The building has an outdoor exercise and rest area (restricted due to the pandemic). The apartment has WiFi Internet, cable TV with flat screen TV, washer / dryer, ironing board, hot and cold water in bathrooms and kitchen. Please note that the use of the washer / dryer is a free service for guests with a minimum stay of four days. The manipulation of the machine will only be done by my wife or me. A welcome fruit basket and / or flowers is included, as well as a daily newspaper if visitors are Spanish-speaking. A small cake will be offered free of charge in case any of our visitors have a birthday during their stay with us (minimum stay of 4 nights). Your stay excludes room cleaning and making the beds, but every third day we will change the bedding and the double sets of towels that we will offer you. Your stay includes a very light complimentary breakfast, but we can offer (and recommend) the memorable breakfasts that we serve (local style) for an additional payment. Likewise, you can order Chef Vitti (me) to prepare heavenly lunches and dinners. Finally, you have the option of cooking for an additional fee. Breakfasts: USD 5.00 per person Lunches: USD 10.00 per person Dinners: USD 10.00 per person If you cook: USD 15.00 per meal service SPECIAL: In stays of 4 or more nights, and if your group consists of a minimum of 4 people, I offer you these extras completely free (the tour guide and chef's fees are included; the cost of tickets, food, supplies and / or transportation are excluded): 1 Guided visit to a craft center to learn about the different types of Peruvian crafts. If desired, the items can be purchased as souvenirs or gifts. 2 A free tour to the fabulous Magic Water Circuit, Guinness Record, the world's largest water fountain complex in a public park, and the water fountain with the highest geyser: 80 meters high. 3 Interactive visit to the Surquillo Market, which includes: a Tasting of Peruvian fruits. b The purchase of ingredients to prepare the invigorating Algarrobina Cocktail. c The purchase of fresh fish and seafood for the preparation of the internationally famous ceviche. d Upon returning to the apartment, the group will assist Chef Vitti in the preparation of both. Estuve en Lima por 10 días, el señor Víctor simplemente me atendió como un familiar, fue muy atento, amable y educado; las habitaciones son muy cómodas, al igual que el resto del departamento, el baño muy limpio (punto súper importante para mí), la cocina totalmente equipada para cocinar, cosa que hice un par de veces, el señor Víctor y yo intercambiamos ideas y puntos de vista sobre recetas y sazones, lo que me agradó mucho. La diferencia principal entre haberme hospedado con él y un hotel, es que cualquier duda con respecto a cualquier punto era respondida, pero no como si consultaras en Google sino más personalizado por ejemplo: dónde puedo tomar un buen café y comer un rico postre? Dónde puedo comer el mejor anticucho de Lima? Y así muchas otras dudas que me fueron resueltas con recomendaciones sublimes. En resumen simplemente lo recomiendo y volvería a hospedarme con él sin duda alguna, muchas gracias!

Our stay here was very delightful. Every night our host cooked for us amazing suppers. The place is well located in a quiet neighborhood, and it is very easy to get transportation to everywhere. We normally used to take a cab which are quiet inexpensive, between $2.5 and $5, or $ 10 for more far-away places. Our hosts were very attentive and gave us lots of tips about places to visit and how to move around. We enjoyed a satisfying stay in Lima thanks to them.
