Everyone in our group loved it here!!! Perfect for families with kids! We all walked in the door and said “wow”! It over-exceeded our expectations in appearance, cleanliness, what the owners provided for the stay, etc....we felt an extreme thankfulness for what the owners provided. It was cozy and inviting. You really don’t need to bring much! Not one negative word mentioned the whole trip. We would love to stay here again and make it a regular visit!! You won’t be disappointed!

I would recommend this cabin to anybody going to Ruidoso! This cabin is very clean, very modern, and is at a reasonable price. The cabin is also at a great location close to ski apache.

My wife and stayed at the Texas Star Cabin for a week in September. The cabin was immaculate. It was very quiet and very clean. We really enjoyed staying there and would definitely stay again. We watched the deer every morning and enjoyed coffee on the deck. Lia was great to deal with and had everything ready to go. Thanks Lia for allowing us to stay in your wonderful cabin. Cant wait to go back.

We stayed for 7 days at Christmas, great location for skiing and winter park tubing area, just a few minutes away from ski run road. Plenty of deer walking near the home we threw out a bag of corn on the driveway under the large windows and watched about 10 deer eat for several hours while sitting at the dining room table, our kids loved it.

A couple of girlfriends and our kiddos stayed at Texas Star Cabin MLK weekend and we absolutely loved it! The cabin is easy to find and just so beautiful. The atmosphere was everything we were wanting. It's also close to downtown Ruidoso and right down the street from the turn off to go up Sierra Blanca mountain to Ski Apache. We plan to return in the Spring for hiking and possibly golf! Definitely would recommend to friends!
