Thank you Jane & Max for a wonderful stay at Jungle Paunch, it was my favorite place in Bocas. Execptional place for those who love nature, in the middle of the trees like a canopy, just closed ocean. ideal location between Bocas town & Playa Bluff. very charming. Everything was perfect , the bungalow is so confortable with nice bathroom and functional kitchen, beautiful terrace for relax. I hope to come back to Jungle Paunch with friends for share and make known this incredible place.

Todo fue soñado desde que llegamos, realmente superó nuestras expectativas. Nos recibieron los propios dueños, con una amabilidad y buena onda inigualable. Las cabañas tienen un estilo muy propio, se nota que fue pensado cada detalle tanto en su construccion como en la decoracion. Acojedoras! Están super equipadas, no les hace falta nada. Son bastante espaciosas, y muy luminosas de día. Todo se ve como nuevo, la cama fue la mejor en todo nuestro viaje! Es una zona muy tranquila, no se escuchan autos ni otros ruidos que no sean de la misma naturaleza. Excelente relación precio/calidad. La playa esta a unos 200 metros, y a esa misma distancia pasan buses o taxis que te llevan al pueblo por usd 3. Pero igualmente hay restaurantes y bares cerca, pudiendo ir caminando (llevar una buena linterna!) No dudaría en volver, pero para una estadía más larga!!!

One of the best accommodations I have ever stayed! I loved absolutely everything there. Hosts are open minded and guest oriented. Thanks to their vast travel experience they managed to organise cabins in a perfect way. There is all you need and in a perfect balance. I would love to come back, again and again.🏖☀️🌿

I enjoyed my stay with Jane and Maxi who have built three nice duplex style cabins near the sea, and near town. I liked the location and the amenities which included a well equipped kitchen and a hammock. A taxi to town or back was about $3-$4, less if you use the shuttle. Jane and Maxi are great hosts who ensured I enjoyed myself. There are friendly dogs on the property, and some monkeys too. It was nice to have a shower with hot water, which seemed to be a luxury for me while travelling in Central America.

Thank you Jane & Max for a wonderful stay at Jungle Paunch. It was an altogether different experience. Being so close to the nature of Panama. Seeing the monkeys and the sloths in the trees and a special mention to the caiman in the stream. The stilted cabins give you a tree house recollection whilst being clean and cozy. An ecological stay highly recommended for anybody who'd like to experience life in the raw jungle.

Leave your iPod at home and listen to one of the best soundtracks: it's the jungle and the ocean waves! Such a beautiful location, where you realize from the very first moment on: the cabins are created with love and deep respect for mother nature. It felt like home to us from day one. Jane and Maxi are perfect hosts – with a lot of knowledge about the islands and great recommendations. Furthermore they are kind-hearted people who became friends quickly. One of the places to which we will always come back!!!

Max and Jane, the hosts, are both wonderful people who made your stay as good as possible. The new cabins are build with a lovely and modern charm which fits perfectly in the scenery of the jungle. Showering with collected rainwater, view right in the jungle and monkeys right above the cabins made our stay unforgettable and environmentally friendly. It is 10-15 minutes with a taxi from the port. It is right in the jungle but really close to the beach at the same time. Both have some great tips for beautiful spots on this island and are always helpful if you have a question. Tip: Get some groceries and food before you arrive. There are no supermarkets in the close area however you have your quiet stay with the great sound of the junge radio instead:) Highly recommended, hopefully we will see other again!!

These jungle cabins are well- crafted, comfortable, and stylish. Off the beaten track, but not inconvenient. Awesome hosts who are available when needed. Would definitely stay again.

Great place tucked away in the jungle, but just 100m from the beaches. 10-15min walk from a choice of restaurants but taxis/buses are cheap and easy to get into 'downtown' or to other points of interests. Be sure to walk north as far as you can to Blue Lagoon and La Piscina. Cabins are well equipped, and thoughtfully furnished and designed. Hosts were very accommodating. Would stay there again!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Maxi‘s and Jane‘s beautiful Jungle Tree Cabins. The accommodation is located in the beautiful jungle where you can see howler monkeys and other animals from your terrasse. It is only a 3 min. walk away from the Paunch surf break and Paki Point. I was always the first one in the line up every morning due the short walking distance so I had the wave all for myself for the first hour. You can also grab a taxi to Bocas Town or Bluff beach that are coming by every 10 minutes or so. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to town. The cabins itself are really beautiful, very clean and well equipped with everything you need to cook a delicious dinner. The hosts Maxi and Jane were extremely welcoming and helpful. Whatever we needed they were there to help and gave us great recommendations where to go, eat and surf.
