Stayed for a week with my in laws from France. We all loved the house and appreciated the 3.5 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, great terrace, and calm surroundings. Though never got the chance to meet the owner or manager...both were very attentive and communicative by phone and email. Hope to visit again in the future.

Amazing villa in a perfect beach town
The pictures don't do justice to this marvelous villa with friendly owners. It is full-equipped, comfortable and spacious, and you can see wildlife in the surrounding trees and garden: monkeys, frogs, birds...Finish a late night with a dip in the refreshing pool, surrounded by flowers and fireflies, with some thunder in the distance... Magical !
(also Samara is an ideal beach town with a beautiful beach, easy surf for beginners, and nice restaurants )

We loved our stay in Casa Margarita!
Lovely house! Great location and very good help from Peter and property manager Bill! We did not have a car during our stay but that was no problem. You can walk down the hill to the beach in 15 minutes and it was always easy to find a taxi on the way back. The town and the beach are great and the house was perfect for our family of five. We all loved the porch with the great view and the pool was bigger than it looks on the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped and the laundry room as well. In summary we loved every minute of our stay and would love to come back and could recommend this house to anyone!

I love this place!
Casa Margarita is amazing. We met Bill, the property manager, and he took the time to show us around town. He's one of the nicest people we've ever had the privilege to meet.
The house is big, spacious, lovely...big bedrooms, huge outdoor patio, nice pool! The AC in the bedrooms really wasn't required, but it was nice. The pool was so much fun, and the iguanas would lounge around it in the morning. There wasn't one thing we didn't love about Casa Margarita! We had monkeys, macaws, iguanas, coatimundis, etc. come to visit us! And if you have the energy, the walk to town and back is fun, but do it early before it gets hot.
Playa Samara is wonderful - people are friendly, the little shops have everything you need, there's a local fish market, and a great little meat shop. The beaches are incredible - and Playa Carillo was our favorite spot each evening to watch the sun set and play in the waves. We visited Playa Garza - and had an amazing lunch at the little fish restaurant there - they are the nicest family! Then we bought Mahi fillets just down the road from there - really fresh and were great on the BBQ!
Casa Margarita is beautiful, and we'll be back to stay here next year!

Le paradis
Nous avons passés 10 jours dans cette maison spacieuse, aérée et reposante. L'équipement est vraiment complet et vous pourrez apprécier des moments de détente sur la terrasse ombragée avec un coin de vue sur le Pacifique.
La piscine est idéalement située et protégée du soleil l'après midi. Après 9 heures passées à pêcher en mer, nous avons apprécié de pouvoir nous prélasser dans une eau rafraîchissante en sirotant un "mojito".
Le propriétaire (Peter) est très réactif à vos demandes et très avenant dans ses mails. Ce n'est pas lui qui vous reçoit mais Bill (qui ne parle que l'anglais) mais fait vraiment tout ce qu'il peut pour vous dépanner rapidement.
Franchement, c'est la location de vacances la plus agréable que j'ai eu l'occasion d'occuper depuis des dizaines d'années que je pars en vacances. Elle est parfaite pour 3 couples.
L'inconvénient, c'est qu'on n'a plus envie de repartir...

Great place to visit, great place to stay!
Spent 10 days in Casa Margarita over the holidays. Perfect weather, and Samara is a lovely place to visit. Casa Margarita was clean and well-maintained. Lovely, charming house. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying a ocean view. Location of Casa was perfect: easy walk to Samara Beach, but not on a busy street. The small pool was perfect for cooling off and lazing with a book. Peter and property manager, Bill, were perfect hosts. To top it off, the backyard saw its share of regular guests: gorgeous song birds, howlers and our own regularly visiting coati. You wake to the gentle sound of the birds singing. Highly recommend Casa Margarita. We hope to return.

Bellissima villa ottimamente attrezzata. Le camere sono spaziose ed ognuna con il proprio bagno. la cucina grande e gli elettrodomestici nuovi e ben funzionanti. Propietario e menager molto seri. Assolutamente consigliata.

Great villa and location
We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay at Casa Margarita. The villa is spacious and clean, with a great terraced outside area with beautiful views, and a nice pool for cooling down. Lounging after a day at the beach, looking out at the sunset over the Pacific (with a cocktail in hand) has to be one of life's great experiences! Pete and Maggie were very helpful in terms of advice and tips in advance of our trip out there. We went snorkelling, fishing, diving, went on the zip line tour, and spent lots of time on Samara and Carillo beaches (both quiet and beautiful). The wildlife was also a real highlight - particularly the monkeys and hummingbirds

A fantastic villa in a gorgeous destination
Lovely homely villa with all the features & amenities you would need in a holiday home. Very clean and great rooms. Especially liked the local 'pet' monkeys swinging in the trees out back! Within a manageable walking distance of the beach, restaurants and local shops too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
