After being asked several times for our ETA, when we finally arrived at 4pm, tired and exhausted we were told the previous guests were still in the room and he was trying to get them out. He offered to buy us a drink and took us in his car quite a long way
When we got back I asked if the guests he’d left, he replied yes, however when we arrived at our apartment they were still there just sat watching television!!!
They did then leave, then the owner said would we wait until the next day for the apartment cleaning, Er NO, the previous guests had been in 2 weeks we were told
There were apparently no cleaners until the following day, I asked if there were any clean sheets and towels to which he replied ‘ oh, do you want them changing’ Er YES.
we were told to check around while he went for clean bedding
The place is very tired, very run down and absolutely filthy as is the whole complex and area
I went to put food in the fridge and it was full with other people’s left over food, as were the cupboards. After I had checked my hands were filthy with grease. The cupboard under the sink was swimming in dirty stinking water, the floor is sticky to walk on in bare feet, there are 2 bathrooms, both filthy, toilet does not work in one, the shelves in the shower are full of other peoples toiletries and the toilet spray in the working bathroom is a piece of filthy plastic pipe with POO in the hole, disgusting
