With VRBO one expects some basic amenities, e.g trash bags, toilet paper, soap, kitchen towels, coffee, and some basic kitchen supplies.
Any how we managed. The weird thing was the tone of the communication with the host. On a simple checkin on where can we find a few of these things, being told do not break into the host cabinets, was extremely rude, unnecessary and unempathatic.
These were part of the communication in the checkin instructions which we saw only after we had left for the trip, I think it needs to be part of the listing so renters know what they are booking especially for properties with no cancellation policy. We are not new to renting Airbnbs and VRBO properties, this one was just one of the strangest experience.
The property is old but decent and location is indeed very good, but not pleased with the overall experience which could have been different if only for better communication.
