Cute cabin and wonderful deck. We loved all the meals we were able to enjoy outside together as a family. The beds were all comfortable and sheets and towels clean and fluffy. When we checked in there was a mouse dead in a trap in the pantry. I understand this is the mountains and that is bound to happen, but you’d think someone would have walked the property before guests checked in. There are cobwebs on the wood beams, light fixtures, etc. The couches and pillows need a good wash also. The cabin is in need of a good deep cleaning. There was plenty of dishes, pots/pans, etc There are laminated instruction pages all throughout the cabin by things, so we never had to contact the owners. The owners checked in with us the afternoon of check-in and the morning of check-out. The owners are very nice.

The house is spacious and the kitchen is very well stocked - with plentiful dish wear and with staples. We stayed over a cold spell and mild snow storm and the first floor above above the garage level was too cold to use, and this included the game room. However, the 2nd and 3rd floors, where we lived were cozy. There was little internet so only basic TV programs. We were able to put our car in the garage over the snowstorm, so that was great. The major problem was that the water pipes froze and so we had no hot water for two mornings and one whole day. The electricity went out for a few hours but luckily that was after making coffee. The balconies were lots of fun for the kids because of all the fresh snow. Good location for skiing at Dodge Ridge. The owner was helpful when we had troubles. Altogether we enjoyed our visit but wished the owners would have given us a little rebate for the lack of hot water.

We all thoroughly enjoyed how nice the cabin was and the ample space to accommodate everyone.

The Ash Cabin was exactly how advertised. Very clean and plenty of sleeping space. Easy to communicate with the owners. Had a great time there and will be back. Thank you

The house was clean and very well stocked for our large family. It is bigger than the pictures reveal. It was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The house is well equipped with kitchen supplies, toiletries, and bedding. It was perfect for our large family with Pinecrest only 5 minutes away. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed here in June for a week with another family. We both had young kids and more staying in another house nearby. House had all the needed utensils and tools that should be included. There were 3 levels, each with a full bathroom. Top floor had a sleeping room of sorts where we kept all the kids. Nice deck outside for dining and relaxing. Great house for multiple families. As long as they can handle stairs. The house was in good shape. I think the info said 2000 sq ft. but it seemed like more. No real complaints. If I had to find something, the kitchen was a little tight on counterspace if you were planning to cook a feast. Top floor got a little hot on hot summer days, but opening windows and getting fans going made it livable even on toasty days. Would recommend and would book again. Thanks for having us.

We had a great time staying at the Ash Family cabin! It was above 5 stars and exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be booking again in the future!!

My family and I stayed her for two night and it was so beautiful and relaxing when we first arrived everything it was so clean and neat and the kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. It’s perfect for a weekend away with ur family to eat lots of food and do karaoke! I would rate our experience a 10/10!

Loved the Ash Family Cabin. It was honestly equipped with everything you need from shampoo, body wash, Lysol spray, Clorox wipes, coffee, spices and all pots pans and dishes you need. Even a keurig and coffe pot. You are set in this cabin for sure. Plenty of space for a family of 12 and extra space for more if needed. Also they have sleds and plenty of them. We got a nice little layer of snow to wake up to in the morning and even found little sledding hills near by. Pinecrest lake and dodge ridge were literally in the back yard. We will definitely consider staying again when we decide to come back to long barn. Thank you Penny and Mike you were great hosts and your cabin is so warm and cozy. It made our Christmas just that extra special and my 9 year old , 2 year old and even 1 year old had an amazing time.
