Beautiful place off the river. We went kayaking, BBQ, and just relaxed at this retreat. If you are looking for a spring to hang out at we didn’t find one close by that you could access by car (the GPS took us to peoples backyards).

Very quite neighborhood
We enjoyed the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts. We also enjoyed how quite the neighborhood was.

Better than advertised
Cons: I am a pessimist (notice I started with cons) and was very disappointed that I could not find anything wrong with this place.
Pros: The area. You are on the St. John's River. They have kayaks available for use. The unit is very clean. Very well decorated. Describing the kitchen as "well equipped" is an understatement.10 ft. ceilings, double oven in the unit, all tile, great patio, you really don't have to go anywhere but if you do, Ravine Gardens is a short distance and very impressive. especially if you are from Florida (elevation). Wish we had stayed longer. Next time I'm hiring captain Dave for a fishing trip!

Amazing Place
Owners live on the 2nd floor of the home, very nice people. The condo is broken up into two parts, kitchen and bath and bedroom on one side and eating and living room on the other side. The condo is beautiful and very clean, decorated to the hilt. Stocked with most anything you may have left behind. David and Natascha are very gracious host. This is a very peaceful retreat. Walking around to the different water areas, can do a little fishing or just have a romantic weekend for 2.

Our new favorite retreat
I almost hesitate to write about this place because selfishly we'd love to keep it to ourselves!! Natascha and Captain Dave are the perfect hosts. The apartment is adorable, perfectly appointed, with an amazing number of thoughtful touches for guests. Best for an individual or a couple, but we slept our two young kids with us in the bedroom, using the owners' fold-out bed (one child) and our own camping pad (other child). Infinitely better than a hotel! The sitting area at the front of the house and the outdoor patio in particular are beautiful, with great views of the water. You can even roast marshmallows at their fire pit! We felt completely at home and thoroughly enjoyed going out on the beautiful St. John's River. Can't wait to return.
