Super quite location, facility seemed clean and brand new. Loved the trails around the cabin.

Very secluded

I wish the property was listed with more detail. The property is in nicely located, but has NO amenities. No plates, pans, cutlery, towels, bedding, etc. Zilch. You need to bring in EVERYTHING, including dry firewood. They have a small pile of rotting wet wood in the corner of the yard. There is no one on site & no assistance on the weekend, so if you check in at Friday at 3pm, no one can answer any questions for you until Monday. The property was no clean the way you expect a VRBO to be cleaned, more like how you expect a cabin in the woods to be cleaned. A cabin in the woods is the best way to describe the experience. The plus side is you have a lot of privacy, you will be completely alone, and the beds & furniture are in good condition. Overall we did have a good weekend, and it was located near some good hiking and kayaking areas. I think it would be more family friendly if they spent $20 at goodwill to get a few basics like a can opener, knives, pots, plates, silverware etc.

This property was the perfect getaway from the city. I wanted a quiet place, immersed in nature and this property is exactly that. My family and I enjoyed the paths, river, and drives down the country roads to nearby towns. The cabin is beautiful with its updated and modern interior. Lots of space for kids to play and adults to relax.

Very clean very quiet such nice people. The shower is literally 4ft tall but has a hand sprayer. There is no oven. Cook top and microwave coffee maker. Theres just not enough I can say about it. Close to alot of good stuff. Property has amazing trail that goes all over the propert. BRING BUG SPRAY!!! great place will come back again. Wish I could of talked to the ranger more, too cute

Nice cabin and pictures were very accurate of interior. Very clean. Grounds were great for quick walks and exploring with the kids.

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was perfect as a remote getaway, very quiet and we could see so many stars at night. The main room was so big and our kids loved running around, and the trails were perfect for them. There was a toaster and coffeemaker to use, and a few games and books for the kids too. The grill and fire pit area was great, and we explored the area a bit too - there is a great winery nearby (Wide River Winery), and it was so nice to get away into the woods for a few days! Very clean and tidy, bed was comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. The land is great, it would be interesting to know what is on the other side of the river since all the trails are on the West side of it. We will hopefully be back again, maybe in the fall. We wanted to explore Mississippi Palisades and during covid-19 wanted to be safe away from all people. Having these 39 acres was awesome, and the beautiful Elk River flowing through was nice. One long trail is marked through the large forested property (used to be a Girl Scout camp). The cabin was clean, modern, very nice. 4 bunks in one room, one queen "hospital" adjustable bed in the other room. Nice large dining table, very comfortable recliner, loveseat and couch. Good size fridge, cooktop, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. No Oven or dishwasher. The TV is pretty small for modern families, but TV is not the main draw. The electric fireplace is very nice and actually quite warm, but the blower adjustment knob is broken FYI. The bathroom is nice and the shower is big but both showerheads are very low, and the ADA drain allows some water to leak into rest of bathroom. Door code was easy to use. Fire pit and table were nice. Didn't need to communicate with property manager while there. Also enjoyed very nearby Eagle Point Park, the holiday lights show there, Heritage Canyon, and the Dutch windmill.

Everything we could ask for. Quiet getaway. Cute cabin. Plenty of forest for the kids to explore. Great communication with the owners.

Lovely weekend! The property was peaceful and the fall colors were beautiful. We loved the walking paths and enjoyed the fire pit. Cabin was clean. Be sure to bring with you what you will need in the kitchen-pots, pans, cutting board, knife, utensils, etc. Mississippi Palisades State Park was a just short drive and we enjoyed the hiking trails.
