The house was immaculately clean, uncluttered and had everything we needed for a wonderful week away from it all. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well stocked (including decent knives, plenty of pots/pans, dish soap, trash bags, sponges, etc) plenty of towels, extra pillows/blankets. Water filter for drinking is an appreciation detail. Dehumidifier in basement keeps it comfortable. Outdoor shower is lovely. Quiet air-conditioner kept us cool on hot days. DVDs, wifi & Netflix kept us occupied on rainy days. And the lake... crystal clear, perfect for fishing, swimming and kayaking (we brought our own.) It's a rocky area at your own little "beach" (so bring water shoes) which means it's not weedy and squishy. It's a shallow entry to the water, but gets deep enough to swim fairly close to shore, so great for kids young and old. S'mores at the fire pit, drinks on the balcony after the kids were asleep (quiet neighborhood, so you can hear the loons calling) and countless rocks skipped on the water made this vacation special.
