Clean with lots of room. The lake is a bit shallow...
Clean with lots of room. The lake is a bit shallow but we still had a great time tubing and skiing. The neighbors were so kind and let the kids use their lily pad. A gas grill off the side of the deck would work best since the charcoal grill was a big hassle. Overall we would definitely stay again.

Cottage is accurately described. Perfect for a larger group. We brought our pontoon and had a great time 'floating'. It had everything we needed. Would recommend for others. Communication with owners was prompt and easy.

We had a great time staying at this house. It was clean and organized. Everything was easy to find and the folder with welcome information had a lot of extra information about local shopping and activities. Even though we didn’t use it, it was a really nice touch. The house was perfect for our 10 person family group of all ages. Thank you for helping make our trip one to remember.

Great Cottage and Location
The house at Lake Mitchell was in a great location. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown Cadillac. I stayed there with my family and it had plenty of room for all of us. Owners were great with communication and helping us with anything we needed. Definitely recommend this cottage.

Great place for family and kids
It was the best rental so far that met the needs of our family. We had 8 adults, a 5yr old and a 3yr old. Everyone had their own bedroom which was the biggest plus of all. The dock with the chairs at the end were a big hit as were the kayaks.
We'd definitely stay here again!!!

Lovely Summer Week
We had a wonderful time on Lake Mitchell! The house was exactly as described with newer appliances, and a well supplied kitchen. It was very clean and the beds quite comfortable We spent the week and brought our pontoon boat, there was plenty of room to dock the boat and enjoy all that the lake has to offer. We enjoyed the deck and gorgeous sunset views each evening. The house does not have AC however even during an unseasonably warm week for Cadillac the cross breezes through the house along with the ceiling fans kept us cool for sleeping. There are kayaks and a paddle board for use all in great condition. The owners were very responsive to questions we had about the area and left a lovely welcome gift with more information about the house. We will definitely rent again as we loved our time there as well as the location!!
