The house said welcome the minute you walked in. It was spacious and very clean. They had everything you need for cooking and supplied coffee, creamers, eggs and bagels. Saved me a trip to the grocery store. Communication wit the owner was easy and we had no issues. It’s a great place to stay when seeing the zoo lock area and walking distance to downtown area., locks and museums. Highly recommend this place. Dean

The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. Our host answered all of our questions quickly and even had basic breakfast items already stocked so we did not have to make a store run immediately after driving all day to get there. There was so much to do and see in the area and the home was centrally located for all of our excursions.

We had a great four night stay at the house and everything went really well. Best feature for many of us (8 in the family) was how comfortable the beds, pillows and linens were. We all slept great! The house is quite charming with lots of character. Enough setting in the living room and had two bedrooms and one full bath on the main floor, other three bedrooms and two baths on the second floor. Kitchen and dining room well stocked. Backyard was shaded, narrow yet deep with lawn chairs, a grill and fire pit. The neighborhood was very quiet. If staying in the summer...there are two fans in the upstairs bedroom if needed and a few of the windows on each floor open. And our host, Barbara, was very helpful and immediately reachable if needed. We would definitely stay again if visiting the UP.

The house was very large and comfortable for our party of 6. The property manager, Barbara, was wonderful! Perfect spot - close enough to walk to the lock, but far enough to be out of the crowd.

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Walking distance to the Locks, it is a great location. The house is very clean and well equipped. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We would return again.

House was clean and big enough for our group of 8 adults. Our host left us breakfast items for our stay and even had shampoo and body wash although we brought are own it was available should we have needed it. Plenty of towels and linens and the home was located close to a grocery store and many other convenient places. Would recommend this home.
