Great property! Lovely home with great kitchen and lounging areas. Kids loved the sandy shore and shallow beach. Fishing was excellent. We were there weekdays and the location was quiet. Also enjoyed nearby towns.

We had a wonderful family vacation. The home is beautiful, nice open layout, and you can enjoy the lake views even being inside via the large windows. The outside property is lovely. There's a nice, sandy beach area, not huge but perfect for playing in the water with our family. There were lots of little sunfish - the kids LOVED fishing off the dock. Huge highlight from the trip. The kayaks, paddle boards, floatation devices were so nice to have access to. The bean bag toss game was a family staple. The only thing to be aware of is the property is on a steep hill, so it's not ideal for small toddlers or elderly, or people who may have trouble walking up/down steep hills. Other than that, it's such a great vacation spot!

The property provided a wonderful place for our family to gather. We enjoyed using the kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing off the dock. The solitude and scenery of Ox Yoke Lake gave us a restful and relaxing place to spend time with family. Our time spent at this VRBO certainly met our expectations.

We love it here! Always so much fun and such a nice clean place and wonderful lake. The fishing was great! Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice relaxing summer trip to the lake.

We absolutely loved the property and the lake was amazing! Very clear - you could spot the fish before they took the bait. Loved the beach area too! The slope going down to the beach is steep - be careful of your footing. The dock was large and perfect for bobber fishing, sitting and watching the spectacular sunset. Cabin was clean, beautiful and slightly sound proof as neighbors were closer than expected. We really enjoyed our stay and we plan to book again.*

This is the 2nd time we have rented this home. This time was just like the first, WONDERFUL! Lots of great memories made by the children, parents, and grandparents! Hopefully we can make it number 3 next year.

Wonderful new cabin with amazing views. Great spot on the lake. Our kids had a blast swimming and fishing right off the dock. Very helpful hosts.

This was a family trip with my 3 boys and there wives, wife and twin grandchildren (2 years old). I am a avid fisherman and we fishing 4 different lakes in the area. We enjoying the kayaks and my wife enjoyed checking out Brainard and Walker. The ice cream shop in Hackensack is a must visit.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful property! I was looking for something quiet and relaxing and found just that! The house has everything you need and was comfortable and inviting. Loved that I could bring my dog with! We had great walks and took in the gorgeous views of the lake and the changing fall colors! This was just what I had been dreaming of all year! Thank you for everything!!

This cabin is exceptionally clean and decorated really nicely. We enjoyed the lake view so much and loved the grass and trees 🌲 especially coming from the desert. The evening views were pretty, and late at night with the cabin lights off, you can sit in the living room and look up at the stars - very peaceful! Our dog went swimming in the lake and was a happy boy! We did have trouble with the remote and inserted new batteries that were provided😊 - still didn’t get many channels most likely due to this location being pretty far from a large city. Overall it was relaxing and we recommend it especially for a family with kids - great upstairs space which we didn’t need for just 2 people. Not highly recommended for an older person with mobility issues, as the trek uphill from the lake is quite steep.
