My extended family all gathered at this home for an extended weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! We appreciated all of the conveniences and comforts of home with the well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The two full-sized fridges plus one "beer fridge" meant less shopping or schlepping ice to coolers, and more kicking back and relaxing! We were pleasantly surprised by how kid-ready and friendly the home was - toys, games, videos, pack n play, Exersaucer, and more! There was space for all four families to spread out at night, and great gathering areas to come together for meals, game time, and conversation. The hike through the woods to the river was a highlight, and the kids and dogs loved splashing around and swimming in the gently flowing water. Thanks for helping make our reunion such a memorable and fun one!

We rented this property so we could enjoy a whole family (9 children and 8 adults) vacation. We spent several hours cleaning when we arrived just to be able to have dinner and get cleaned up. The property was filthy inside and out. We left early the next morning, leaving the cabin in better shape than we found it. Fortunately we were able to find a hotel at the last minute on a holiday weekend. The owners refer to it as their “beloved country cabin and home.” I don’t understand how they could possibly feel good about misrepresenting this property and charging anyone to stay there. My 11 year-old grandson referred to it as “the death cabin.” He said, “You know, the dead wasp, the dead bugs, the dead mouse (which fell out of a blanket on back of the couch), and obviously the dead maid!” 😶� We were refunded all of our money, however the inconvenience of spending our time cleaning instead of enjoying our family, the uncomfortable feeling of the stay for even one night (our daughter-in-law had to take a sleep aid), having to find another place to stay with little to no wi-fi available, repacking early the next morning, and several texts, pictures, and phone calls (one week’s worth) to assure a total refund, were totally not worth the hassle. Besides the filth, there were several areas that were “under construction,” which we were made aware of a few days prior to our stay. This property is in no condition to be rented out to anyone under the pretense of a “cabin retreat ” Renter BEWARE!

It was a wonderful weekend for our family! We are looking forward to our next trip!

I had a group of guys for a weekend at this rental and it was perfect! It was exactly what we where looking for. We like to be outside, so there was plenty to keep us entertained. Took the truck on the trail down to the fields and to the river front. Spent a day fishing and target shooting. We even brought down golf balls to practice our game. There is even a nice concrete slap with a basketball net which we used a lot. There is a flat grade of ground by the house that is perfect for playing yard games. Inside the home was great! We played card games, brought down video games, foosball, and played a lot of ping pong. There was more then enough beds to cover the 12 of us to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was well overstocked with cooking supplies, plates, and utensils. There is a very large grill to accommodate cooking our dinners, and a nice deck with a wonderful view. We had a great time and would love to go back when we get a chance. Tim was very easy to work with and seems like a great person. I recommend a visit!
