This is a great place to stay if you don't want to be in the city and don't mind driving 15 minutes from Taos to get there. The house has everything you need. It's clean, roomy, and in a wonderful location. Walk out the back door and into the ravine for a morning stroll. Bighorn sheep are around from time to time. Way more positives than negatives, hence my 5-star rating. Nevertheless, you should know that the garage isn't accessible, the thermostats are locked down (but there's a gas stove in the main room if you need it), there is a stretch of speed bumps ("humps") on the way to the house, and my wife thought that the pillows were too hard (I didn't). For a short stay, the ridiculous cleaning fee adds a lot to the average nightly cost.
