If you’re looking for something quieter than the Gatlinburg strip, but want the opportunity to go on a whim, this is the perfect cabin for you. My husband and I stayed and felt more relaxed than we have in ages. The main sleeping area is a loft above the living area, and there is a pull out couch as well, making it convenient if you have a small family, or you’re a small group of friends that don’t need a ton of privacy.
We slept with the windows open so we could hear the stream at night, and watched horses in a field on the other side in the mornings.
Some tips about the area: there are not a lot of choices for dining out, but the kitchen is perfect if you want to stay in. If you want to eat out, there are a couple diners in town, but it’s only a 25-30 minute drive to Gatlinburg and there is a town about 15-20 minutes north that has a lot of chain restaurants as well.
We ate locally for breakfasts and lunches and were not disappointed!
There is also hiking with llamas, an apple orchard, and an historic distillery within a 10 minute radius of the property, so there’s still a lot to do.
We can’t wait to come back!

The property itself is not bad— it’s clean, small, and located on a nice stream.
However, upon arrival we noticed a window on the ground floor which would not lock. After contacting management, we still have not heard back and were refused a refund.
DO NOT STAY HERE if you value good communication and a host who understands the importance of safety. You will not get a refund if you have to find a new place to stay should an issue arise.
