This beautifully positioned stately home within walking distance to town and the lake front is an experience everyone should have. From start to finish the owner makes renting this mansion super easy. She is quick to respond, honest and communicates well. The home itself is a nice mix between the old and the new. The decorating is eclectic and every time you walk into a room you discover something new. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. When sleeping you can't hear the noise from the rest of the house. The house is so large yet perfect. Lots of space to find a quiet corner to read a book or relax and large gathering space(s) to enjoy the company of others. The downstairs bar, entertaining area is perfect for those late night rowdy crowd gatherings and the expanded veranda has perfect views of the lake and a cozy corner with "firepit" for conversation. It is like stepping into someone's home for the weekend. The house is supplied with everything and then some. You should not hesitate to stay here-you won't regret it. The small town of Sheboyagan has fantastic eateries as well. Just Lovely.
