What a wonderful stay I had. John and Chris go out of their way to make sure you have everything you could need. The fruit was such a nice touch and delicious. They even have Kona coffee for you. Such a treat. The Ohana was well appointed and I truly didn’t need a thing. Beach chairs, coolers, beach towels and even sunscreen is all available. It was perfect. I can’t wait to return next year.

We spent 4 nights and regretted not staying longer. The apartment is great, just as described, the garden and patio are beautiful, the hub tub was a nice treat after long days exploring the island. It is conveniently located. Chris and John take good care of every single detail, they even have a beach umbrella, chairs and cooler for guests to take to the beach. They had some toys for our 5 year old to use and even found some time to seat with us to chat and get to know each other. We would definitely stay in their property again if we find ourselves back in the Big Island.

This is most definitely a property that we will visit again! The amenities and thought put toward detail are exquisite. As VRBO owners, we found that Chris has done well to think of anything you might need or want! The yard and hot tub provide your very own luxurious, botanical oasis. Mahalo!

We absolutely loved our stay at Chris and John's lower level retreat! We were treated like family from the moment we arrived yet still felt we had privacy - we had full use of their hot tub in the most beautiful back yard space. The Interior was so well appointed, they included many essentials that we may not have had time to pick up, even stocking the fridge with water, cheese and cold cuts. The attention to detail was so appreciated! Any time we return to Kona we will hopefully be able to stay here again - it would be like coming home.
